We enjoyed the West End near Stanley Park during our 2001 visit which is why we targeted this area for our 2016 visit to Vancouver Times Square looked good from our research and we were very pleased with the hotel. Booking was simple and everything with our stay was just like it was expected and there weren’t any unexpected surprises. The underground parking was nice and we never moved the car until we checked out The check in was quick and efficient and the clerk was cordial.
Our suite was everything we were expecting and the kitchen and coffeemaker were wonderful for an early morning breakfast. The fireplace was welcoming and pleasant to help provide heat and light for the short November days. The bathroom was a bit small but it was clean and adequate. The rooftop deck was nice since it was covered and we enjoyed a beer while sitting up there. The hotel recycles everything including coffee grounds and other compost. Great hotel and a good value IMHO.
Our stay here was great – the hotel is a walk from the CBD, close to Stanley Park which was perfect for us. Travelling as a family of 5 is always a challenge, and our suite was perfect – plenty of room, very well equipped, and the fireplace was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Location, room size, amenities
Cons: It’s a bit of a walk if your main business is CBD, but certainly do-able
