Check in was very easy, staff friendly. Rooms were superb could just see some Mountains with snow on the tops.
Bathroom spotless.
Would have liked more choice of coffee and tea and there was no milk or sugar but That is my only niggle.

Stayed here for three nights in late May and it was an excellent place to stay. Facilities and rooms were clean, comfortable and provided everything that was needed. Wifi good, staff friendly and helpful.

The only negative was the noise from the street below. If you closed the window to keep the noise out the room got too stuffy so you couldn’t sleep, but with window open was noisy so you couldn’t sleep. Otherwise would have been five star easily.

Loved our stay here and would stay again. Bus stop not far and from there you can access everywhere throughout Vancouver. Easy to hire a bike and ride around nearby park which was just beautiful.

We stayed at the Times Square hotel in downtown Vancouver for two nights in June 2017. We booked a two bedroom suite and it had a full kitchen, washer/dryer and one bathroom. There were two separate bedrooms although one was micro small with no closet. The living room also had a pull out couch making this room perfect for a family of 5. There was a French door that could be opened to the outside but there was just a railing and no way to step out or sit outside. There was parking available in a secure underground parking garage for $20 per night. The staff was very friendly and helpful and this hotel is ideally situated close to Stanley Park and within a block of restaurants, a grocery store and just about anything else you could think of. The room itself is a little worn and tired. Furnishings are not new and I think this is typical three star type accommodations. There is nothing luxury going on here but the rest of it makes up for it easily.

Loved our stay here. Suites were spacious, very clean and well equipped. It has a full kitchen and the Safeway supermarket is just across the road. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. We stayed in a one bedroom suite on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately there wasn’t any view. Our Suite was very quiet.
The Suites are located close to Stanley Park and the Vancouver shops and a short stroll to the Hop on Hop off bus, and other transport to tourist spots.
For those that ride a bicycle there is a bike hire shop right next door so you can cycle around if you wish. Some very good restaurants are all within a 5 minutes walk.
The only gripe I would have is that it would have been nice to have a small amount of milk on arrival and some sugar, maybe a slightly bigger selection of tea flavours. There was a Starbucks on the corner and we made use of that a lot mostly to save us having to buy a big bag of sugar for 4 nights.
Would definitely stay here again should we return to Vancouver.

We stayed at this hotel twice in the last month for a total of seven days. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the rooms were very comfortable. Great place to stay. We appreciated the laundry facilities in the room and the fact that without asking to we received an upgrade the first time we stayed and were given very early access to our room both times due to the efficiency and forethought of the staff.

Wonderful stay! The suites are spacious, well equipped and spotless (and I mean spotless)!! The staff was friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us. The best thing is the pretty rooftop deck with comfortable chairs, tables and grills. We ended each day up here relaxing. This is a must if you are visiting Vancouver. It is a few blocks from the bay and Stanley Park. We loved the west end neighbourhood with dozens of unique restaurants. Do not miss this great find!

The Times Square Suites is a great place to call home base for your Vancouver adventures, we stayed for four days during the Rugby Canada Awards and The Canada Sevens. We shared a standard two bedroom suite with my sister and her husband and there was lots of room. There is a Starbucks on one corner and a Safeway and a Liquor store on the other. You are on Robson and Denman so if what you are looking for isn’t right there walk 10 minutes, you’ll find it. You are also super close to Stanley Park if it is sunny. The check in process was quick and easy and the building is secure with great views of the North Van Mountains. There is even a rooftop deck and BBQ.

Stayed here in Feb ’17 as the hotel where my conference was taking place was full. I’m glad it was. While it’s not in the heart of downtown, this place is an easy walk to whatever you need. The room had everything I needed. Just don’t expect a huge lobby with all the front-of-house services. I would absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed a 3-night stay at the Times Square Suites on Robson Street, located in Vancouver’s west end, prior to joining a California-bound repositioning cruise.

The Times Square is very comfortable & homey, and we felt welcomed both by staff and other guests right away. After a bit of confusion over how to get into the hotel and find the registration desk (it’s really more like an apartment building than a traditional hotel, and the registration desk is underground in the parking garage), we settled in to suite 302.

Our suite included two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a full kitchen with all the amenities (including a dining area), a bathroom, full laundry, and a lovely “Juliette balcony” that overlooked Robson Street.

The hotel is only two blocks from the amazing Stanley Park, and right on the border between a residential & commercial area with bustling restaurants, bicycle rental shops, lots of restaurants, and a host of stores. Within easy walking distance of the nearby Banana Leaf Malaysian Restaurant (which we highly recommend), and both a Safeway and a BC Liquor Store for supplies, this is a great spot to settle in for a longer visit.

One special feature of the Times Square Suites is it’s rooftop patio full of plants, loungers, and barbecues available for guest use. Barbecuing a fresh-from-the-Granville-Island-Market feast with it’s view of the city, a glass of Meritage, plants covered in twinkle lights, and our family made for an absolutely heavenly memory. There are few other places we would consider staying on our next trip to Vancouver, BC

EXCELLENT service, from late check-in, assistance with excursions and sending me an item I forgot by mail. The staff truly went the extra mile. Room was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. There were even umbrellas, which we needed during the 2 rainy days we were touring Vancouver. Living room was large enough to accommodate our 3 snowboard bags. Location perfect for us — market, coffee shops, and lots of restaurants all within a block, Stanley Park a few blocks away. The staff arranged our cab to the pickup location for the Whistler Shuttle, including the special request for a minivan, and written confirmation of the reservation slipped under our door. Would definitely stay here again!

We were thoroughly impressed with The Times Square. We had a beautiful room, more like a studio apartment. Close to Stanley Park and a great assortment of restaurants and bars. The staff was exceptional!

We recently stayed two nights in a one bedroom + den for myself, my wife and son. Perfect! Everyone can get their own space. It’s not a hotel room, it’s a suite or apartment. Very well thought out and well appointed. Everything you could want or need for an overnight stay, or a month. You could not get more convenient to the downtown west end. Walk to everything! Very friendly staff and crew, immaculate housekeeping! I’ve seen 5 diamond properties that don’t live up to this standard of cleanliness. We’ll be back for sure.

We chose the hotel after finding it on here, so pleased we did. The location is fabulous, lots of great restaurants in the neighbourhood, you can wander over to Stanley Park, and yet be downtown in a nice short jaunt. If you prefer to eat in the suites have full kitchens, Safeway is across the road and Whole Foods a block away. The bed was so comfortable and the living area cozy, very nice in winter with the fireplace. We had an end unit and found it to be very quiet. If driving, secure underground parking with easy access from the alley. Staff friendly and helpful, was cold outside when we arrived and they had left the flat screens on the fireplace channel so entered to the sounds of crackling fires, very nice touch!

I chose this hotel based on reviews and our stay exceeded my high expectations. I reached out to Times Square Suites Hotel by phone after I read some reviews on some street noise issues. The front desk kindly reserved a top fourth floor room facing Robson Street for our family’s three-night stay.

As directed by reviews, we pulled our car into the back of the building to access the parking lot and the front desk is on the garage floor. You use a key for access the elevator, fourth-floor patio/grill area, front door and garage and a separate key to your apartment.

What a roomy apartment! We had one large room serving as kitchen, dining and living room, a small patio, a roomy bedroom with a tv and a “den” that was really a small bedroom outfitted with a twin-sized bed, nightstand and lamp and a small open closet. The unit was nice and sunny and we had no problems with noise. It was very handy to have a washer, dryer and fully loaded kitchen with a dishwasher. The unit even had a one-use box of detergent so we were able to return home with clean clothes.

The staff were super nice and helpful and the location was great – two blocks to the entrance of Stanley Park, 15 minute walk to the aquarium, a supermarket across the street, Starbucks downstairs, plenty of restaurants within three blocks and once you walk about four blocks up Robson Street there was plenty of clothes and souvenir shopping too. We had no problems getting a space no matter what time we returned from exploring with a car – we visited Capilano Bridge, Chinatown and Kitsilano.
A definite bang for the buck stay.

Stayed in a one bedroom + den suite for two nights. Everything was spot on, comfy beds, clean bathroom, lounge with a gas fireplace, which came in handy in the cold weather. Lots of restaurants nearby, also supermarkets were we bought things for breakfast. Service was excellent, (reception was closed from 11 pm – 7 am) and as we had to leave for the airport at 6 am – and needed a big van as we had skis etc, we booked via reception the night before. Taxi was outside on time, so no problems at all. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here at the Times Square Suites the week before Christmas. We are a family of two adults and three kids and had a one bedroom and den on Robson. We were located on the second floor and the room was awesome. Plenty of room for us all and it was fantastic having the kitchen and washer and dryer in the room. We stayed five nights and we’re lucky enough to have snow in Vancouver. So beautiful! Such a handy location, we walked to The Bright Nights in Stanley Park, to the False Island Ferries and into downtown for some shopping. A short walk to the bus for Capilano. Across the road was Safeway, and plenty of restaurants. We ate in a few nights to save money and it was so handy. The roof patio was awesome and would be beautiful in the Summer, unfortunately it was a touch to cold for us to use. The staff were great, so helpful and friendly. We had a car one day and had no problem with parking at the hotel. I had read about noise in the street but we had no issue even being on level two close to the road. Would definitely recommend Times Square Suites and would stay here again if we are lucky enough to return (fingers x) to Vancouver.

We have stayed 3 times for extended stays and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It literally has everything you need in and outside the accommodation. If you want to cook you have all the utensils necessary to cook whatever you desire. We stay over Christmas and cook a turkey dinner. The Kitchen is a lot smaller than what we are used to in our own home but is manageable. There is a stove, toaster, microwave, kettle etc. You name it has it. It is no 5 star hotel but it is warm, cozy and clean and feels homely. The staff are absolutely fantastic, very friendly and accommodating.

Ther is a supermarket across the road as well as a liquor store, a ton of restaurants and retail shops all within walking distance.

You can walk to English Bay in 5-10 minutes, Stanley Park in about 5-10 minutes and can be in downtown Vancouver in 20 minutes. Rogers Arena is a 30 minute walk as well as Chinatown. There are plenty of bike rental places within earshot of Times Square Suites. It is also close to all means of public transportation.

I give this place a 5 put of 5. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed the West End near Stanley Park during our 2001 visit which is why we targeted this area for our 2016 visit to Vancouver Times Square looked good from our research and we were very pleased with the hotel. Booking was simple and everything with our stay was just like it was expected and there weren’t any unexpected surprises. The underground parking was nice and we never moved the car until we checked out The check in was quick and efficient and the clerk was cordial.

Our suite was everything we were expecting and the kitchen and coffeemaker were wonderful for an early morning breakfast. The fireplace was welcoming and pleasant to help provide heat and light for the short November days. The bathroom was a bit small but it was clean and adequate. The rooftop deck was nice since it was covered and we enjoyed a beer while sitting up there. The hotel recycles everything including coffee grounds and other compost. Great hotel and a good value IMHO.

Our stay here was great – the hotel is a walk from the CBD, close to Stanley Park which was perfect for us. Travelling as a family of 5 is always a challenge, and our suite was perfect – plenty of room, very well equipped, and the fireplace was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Location, room size, amenities
Cons: It’s a bit of a walk if your main business is CBD, but certainly do-able

Had never stayed on this end of Vancouver. Really enjoyed the location, with a large variety of restaurants. The our one-bedroom also had a small room with single bed, full kitchen and gas fireplace. It is a bit quirky, as the reception is in the basement off the parking garage, and there is no lobby. It is like staying in an apartment building. Things were a little dated, but overall very clean and comfortable.

TSS was a terrific home base for my Vancouver visit. Having a cozy apartment with all the amenities AND a fireplace was so nice. The neighborhood has plenty of great restaurants, coffee, ATM, and grocery within a few steps. It’s an easy walk to Stanley Park, bike rentals down the block, and I even walked to Downtown and Gastown one day. I’ll be back.

Stayed here with my family of four during our recent holiday in Canada. Excellent location in Vancouvers West End, surrounded by a great many restaurants and cafes. Particularly good for Asian options.

We stayed in a spacious two bedroom apartment that was a great fit for our group. Only detracting feature was that the bathroom was very small, although quite functional. Management were helpful and courteous.

Highly recommended.

We just came back from staying a week at the Times Square Suites in Vancouver. It was a perfect week!

We had the one bedroom/den overlooking the intersection of Robson and Denman. This was the perfect room for us! We travelled with our almost 2 year old son and he was completely entertained with the big windows and all the traffic/trucks that came through. Our room was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. I’m trying to think of a negative and simply can’t. Unlike other hotels, we were able to actually live her for a week and be a part of the city. The restaurants near by are so delicious. We strongly recommend Dynasty Dumplings and Joe’s Grill for breakfast. The pasta place across the street is also delicious and a nice break from all the Asian food (which is just outstanding.) We would love to return to Vancouver and would definitely stay here. We also loved how the hotel was removed from the city center and was a little quietier, however, with a short walk you can head to downtown. Also, the beach and the harbor are within a short walk. Please do yourself a favor and stop looking for a place to stay and book this hotel. Especially, if you are staying for a week or more and if you have little ones. It was absolutely wonderful and perfect in every way.

Relatively large suites (2 bedrooms separated by living room), bathroom, kitchen, washer and dryer. Comfortable. Located very near Stanley Park, Whole Foods, Safeway, numerous restaurants of all flavors. Close to the port. Friendly and helpful staff. Right on Robson, so could become a bit noisy, especially if you need to open the windows or the French doors on a warm night. Great place to stay for a small family.

The Hotel is very well placed for walking to all the sights and attractions in Vancouver. It has very spacious and clean suites that are very well appointed with free wi-fi. The staff could not have been more helpful during our visit and we would have no problem recommending these suites to anyone visiting Vancouver
