Westin Grand Hotel Vancouver

I loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. Heaven!! The warm birthday wishes, hand made card and treats were a lovely surprise. Thank you for the added thoughtfulness. I look forward to returning after the renovations are complete to see the new look.

We had a very nice one week stay despite the major renovations ongoing. The main entrance and the lobby was closed. We got a king suite which was very spacious. It has a separate living room. All very comfortable and very well designed. The high floor room also gave us nice views from both the bedroom and living room windows. The location is also good. It’s right in the downtown area with easy walk to many shops and restaurants. The staff were all very professional and pleasant. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Awesome location, and we walked everywhere.

Even in the renovation the staff was over accommodating. Very friendly and welcoming. Our new rooms were very well done. We will be back.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Westin Grand and were treated to an upgraded room and a small bottle of wine to share and a couple of sweets. thank you Westin that was a nice surprise.

Our room had an amazing view overlooking BC Place and the sunrise over Mt Baker and the mountains was so beautiful.

Heavenly beds are always a treat. Our room was recently upgraded which was very nice and our only complaint was the sofa (which is a sofa bed) wasn’t very comfortable as the cushions seem to make you feel like you’re falling off the sofa as it is higher at the back than the front.

The hotel is undergoing reno’s and they are doing the best they can at accommodating check in which was not an issue at all.

The staff was first class. They made us feel at home on from the beginning to the end. We were in and out of these hotel multiple times a day, over an 8 day period, and they were very helpful no matter the request.

Beds were so comfy and we had an exceptional dinner at Forage – restaurant right downstairs. Brunch was also very good. The staff was accommodating and helpful. We loved having valet parking too, very handy.

Special treatment at all times by staff. Lovely hotel! Right on Robson Street. Great shopping and restaurants and dancing within walking. Very clean and nice wine reception in lobby, too.

Hotel is well located, nicely appointed and was very quiet. There are some very good casual restaurants in the immediate area and its a short walk to waterfront. Enjoyed my stay.

Loved the comfy bed! Loved the pot of hot coffee in the morning and the friendly man who delivered it. Loved the location! Also really appreciated the great selection of art magazines in my room.

Great location, nice view from the 16th floor and the breakfast at the top.
closed to Stanley park on walk distance and city, and harbour also, good comfortable bed, friendy staff at the desk and breakfast. the room was clean, but the room needs maintenance, buts its your money worth

If you are looking for the hotel which is the good location (near by down town, shopping area), and low price. This hotel is certainly recommendable.
We were hesitated before booking this hotel because many reviews stayed that the hotel is old. Upon arrival, we found that hotel is not too bad, clean and neat. It is definitely a budgeted hotel. The hotel is closed to Stanley Park, walking distance to Pacific Mall, Canada Place. There are lots of good quality Japanese and Korean restaurants around the hotel. The room is clean. The only thing we don’t like much is the heaters. We are a family who booked three rooms. All heaters are quite loud at night.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Really great service. Room was big and specious. Also it was modern room meeting current normal standards. There were window walls around the room, drapes can be opened for bright light and it provides comfy stay. Loved the design of the room. I wish the bathroom could have been upgraded.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION…is the key for this place. Its in downtown hub (Robinson street). You can ring all the shopping and dining options of downtown there. Many great options around there (Had an amazing Malaysian food there). There is free bus right from the hotel door to major attractions (suspension bridge, stanley part, gas town, etc…)

As you already figured it out, this hotel is in a fantastic location: It’s so easy to take the train from the airport to the Burrard Station (about 30 min ride) then walk to the hotel from the train station, about 10 minute walking distance.
The hotel is also located in a very busy Robson street where there are many places to shop, dine, hang out in all directions. The Stanley Park, Gas Town, Canada Center are all walking distance if you like to walk/ hike. And it’s a lovely walking city that feels fairly safe even during the evening. You still have to be security conscious and be street smart of course.
The hotel is very clean, and well maintained. As a matter of fact, they were doing construction when we visited during the holiday. It did not bother us because the noise is usually around 9am-5pm and we are mostly out during those hours. If you will stay in the hotel room a lot then don’t stay here. The bed is very comfortable. I did not like the pillows. They are too squishy.
Despite that it is along Robson Street, the noise outside did not bother us. They must have an awesome insulation. I’d definitely stay here again.
The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. .

Times Square Suites Vancouver

We stayed here at the Times Square Suites the week before Christmas. We are a family of two adults and three kids and had a one bedroom and den on Robson. We were located on the second floor and the room was awesome. Plenty of room for us all and it was fantastic having the kitchen and washer and dryer in the room. We stayed five nights and we’re lucky enough to have snow in Vancouver. So beautiful! Such a handy location, we walked to The Bright Nights in Stanley Park, to the False Island Ferries and into downtown for some shopping. A short walk to the bus for Capilano. Across the road was Safeway, and plenty of restaurants. We ate in a few nights to save money and it was so handy. The roof patio was awesome and would be beautiful in the Summer, unfortunately it was a touch to cold for us to use. The staff were great, so helpful and friendly. We had a car one day and had no problem with parking at the hotel. I had read about noise in the street but we had no issue even being on level two close to the road. Would definitely recommend Times Square Suites and would stay here again if we are lucky enough to return (fingers x) to Vancouver.

We have stayed 3 times for extended stays and wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It literally has everything you need in and outside the accommodation. If you want to cook you have all the utensils necessary to cook whatever you desire. We stay over Christmas and cook a turkey dinner. The Kitchen is a lot smaller than what we are used to in our own home but is manageable. There is a stove, toaster, microwave, kettle etc. You name it has it. It is no 5 star hotel but it is warm, cozy and clean and feels homely. The staff are absolutely fantastic, very friendly and accommodating.

Ther is a supermarket across the road as well as a liquor store, a ton of restaurants and retail shops all within walking distance.

You can walk to English Bay in 5-10 minutes, Stanley Park in about 5-10 minutes and can be in downtown Vancouver in 20 minutes. Rogers Arena is a 30 minute walk as well as Chinatown. There are plenty of bike rental places within earshot of Times Square Suites. It is also close to all means of public transportation.

I give this place a 5 put of 5. You will not be disappointed.

My son and I were vacationing in Vancouver BC, we decided on staying here and I am so glad we did! We really enjoyed staying here! It’s a great location. Walking distance to everything. The staff went above and beyond! Next time we visit which will be soon, we are staying here!

Location was excellent! Close to restaurants, pubs, clubs and shops. Hotel was secure and we felt safe at all times. We felt cared for and the room was gorgeous!

Location is great. Staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us adjoining rooms even though it meant an upgrade for one of the rooms. They were also very accommodating regarding late checkout as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back after the renovations.
Excellent location right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. You are easily able to walk anywhere fairly quickly. The hotel is undergoing a renovation and although we didn’t stay in one of the newly renovated rooms, our room was still clean and very comfortable. All the staff we had dealings with were super friendly and helpful.
I loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. Heaven!! The warm birthday wishes, hand made card and treats were a lovely surprise. Thank you for the added thoughtfulness. I look forward to returning after the renovations are complete to see the new look.

Listel Hotel Vancouver

We returned to the Listel Hotel because of the convenience. There are many restaurants within walking distance and the valet parking is quick and easy! There happened to be a “Happy Hour” with wine tasting. Perfect surprise as we entered the hotel! Our choice for a Vancouver hotel is the artsy Listel Hotel.

Provided a quiet room as requested. Fresh brewed tea delivered to my room in the morning

Rooms very spacious & comfortable, loved the sparkling water available all day & complimentary fresh coffee in the morning. Wine tasting in evening was a nice touch. Excellent staff – very helpful throughout our stay. Forage was excellent for breakfast

Amazing friendliness and service where each staff member genuinely went out of their way to improve our experience here. A lasting memory was that of Christmas morning when I cheerfully greeted with our morning coffee by a festively dressed young lady bearing gifts and a Christmas card signed by the entire staff. A caring Vancouver experience that was the highlight of the morning! The Listel Hotel is where I will stay my next trip to Vancouver. Thanks to the entire staff! Also I think the best sushi in vancouver is right across the street at Miko’s.

Friendly staff, wine reception at 5 -6, complimentary coffee in the am on 5th and 6th floor, comfy room, great proximity to shopping , enjoyed our stay and we will return

The hotel is tired, needs updating but was very central and clean. Booked through getaroom.com and was charged by them and the hotel. Eventually was credited by hotel for their error, however the hotel charge was way less 🙁 Free Wi-Fi only in the lobby – $9 CAN per day extra to have in room.

I got into one of the standard or under value room, which have right value to the room fee. However, the service was not appropriate. WiFi information was not provided at front in the check-in process. On the check out date, there seemed like a maintenance schedule, which was not informed. I got a brown color water in the washroom.

Hotel is situated at heart of city. Food joints, market, shopping are at throw away distance. The rooms rate are reasonable, staff are friendly. The restaurant at 42 floor is amazing. One could have spectacular 360 degree of city.

Blue Horizon Hotel Vancouver

We Actually stayed in August of 2015. Sorry to be so long in writing this review. I will start my applause with the manager. We had been booked on a lower floor. As it was my wife’s and my 40th anniversary I asked if we could possibly have a room on a higher floor. All the rooms have balconies and the view is terrific. The manager went to some trouble, which he did not have to do, and we were given a room with a beautiful view of the city and the bay. He and the entire staff were always so helpful. the rooms are larger than you would expect. Very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in a fabulous location! It has a great little restaurant in the lobby that served a wonderful breakfast. Absolutely delicious, and the waitresses were courteous and hard working. The Blue Horizon has it all! A friendly and helpful staff, fabulous location, large and very comfortable rooms and a great little restaurant. Without question, we are huge fans!

A group of 6 people stayed here 4 years ago and it was the best hotel we stayed in over a period of 5 weeks. Most comfortable beds AND pillows. Very large rooms too.
A great location, with walking distance to many places.
We will be staying there again on our next trip to Vancouver.
