Westin Grand Hotel Vancouver

I can’t say enough good things about the Westin Grand. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable…the bed, the pillows…wow! Our sleeps were excellent. The bathrooms are large in size and are equipped with the basics which is nice to not have to pack a hair dryer or shampoo. The maid service was incredibly fast. We would head out for a meal and come back 90 minutes later and our room was made up again. Very impressed. The elevators are slow, I do agree with that but all in all this is the place we will continually choose whenever we are in Vancouver. Great location for downtown activities. We had the best time here. A $25-30 cab ride back to the airport is all it cost us and we felt that was reasonable. We highly recommend the Westin Grand!

Hotel is very nice. Staff are always friendly and prepared. Rooms are an odd shape, but well appointed and clean. This building has the slowest elevators I’ve ever come across. Expect they will take 5 minutes to arrive to any floor above 10

I have always loved the location of this hotel, its so close to everything downtown. However there are a few things that I would like to say about our last stay. We arrived later in the evening and our duvet cover was dirty I didn’t realize it until the next morning, the pillows were awful they were a regular size pillow that seemed to be way over used and they had extra large pillow cases on them. Lastly I notice a mouse running around outside by the pool one evening which isn’t a huge deal(better out than in) I will always recommend this hotel as it is one of my favourites it definitely has more good things about it then bad.

My wife and I stayed for three nights and were very pleased. The location is perfect right in the middle of Robson st and walking distance to Stanley park. The staff was good/friendly. The room was nice and quite comfortable. We will be staying here again the next time we visit Vancouver.

The hotel is in a great location – it was out first visit to Vancouver. The staff were warm, knowledgeable and very helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

If you want to relax in an art-filled boutique hotel, be cared for by gracious professional staff, have French Press coffee delivered to your room first thing in the morning, and enjoy the natural cuisine at the Forage restaurant, then The Listel Hotel is your best choice in Vancouver, BC.
The rooms are beautifully appointed, quiet and peaceful, and the bed is sublime. Location couldn’t be better for enjoying the West End, Stanley Park, and English Bay.

Amazing boutique hotel, close to restaurants, city centre, Stanley Park and many other areas of interest. The food in Forage and Timber is very, very good and the service was great. In general very clean, all needs met.

Spent 4 nights here on business and found everything to be great. Had a little trouble checking in with our service dog but after speaking with a manager everything went very well. The staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms are dated and the beds a little small but comfortable. Great restaurants Within an easy walking distance as well as to the beach and Stanley Park. We would definitely stay here again

When I first found this hotel on Expedia, I couldn’t believe the price! But I read the reviews and heard good things, so we booked it. This hotel is EXCELLENT value for money. A short 10-minute walk from Stanley Park and the waterfront, and right downtown, steps from restaurants and shops. The hotel is clean and the rooms are a comfortable size. No safes in the room though.
we loved the location on Robson Street. Check in took a bit longer. There are only one or two person to check in. One of the guy speaks like a machine. But get things done. Our room had a beautiful view. It was well priced. The gym was under reconstruction from the 2nd day. The first day we went and really it needs to be modernized. I wouldnt actually call it a gym. The revolving restaurant is nice but breakfast there is not worth.

Times Square Suites Vancouver

The Times Square Suites is a great place to call home base for your Vancouver adventures, we stayed for four days during the Rugby Canada Awards and The Canada Sevens. We shared a standard two bedroom suite with my sister and her husband and there was lots of room. There is a Starbucks on one corner and a Safeway and a Liquor store on the other. You are on Robson and Denman so if what you are looking for isn’t right there walk 10 minutes, you’ll find it. You are also super close to Stanley Park if it is sunny. The check in process was quick and easy and the building is secure with great views of the North Van Mountains. There is even a rooftop deck and BBQ.

Stayed here in Feb ’17 as the hotel where my conference was taking place was full. I’m glad it was. While it’s not in the heart of downtown, this place is an easy walk to whatever you need. The room had everything I needed. Just don’t expect a huge lobby with all the front-of-house services. I would absolutely stay again.

We enjoyed a 3-night stay at the Times Square Suites on Robson Street, located in Vancouver’s west end, prior to joining a California-bound repositioning cruise.

The Times Square is very comfortable & homey, and we felt welcomed both by staff and other guests right away. After a bit of confusion over how to get into the hotel and find the registration desk (it’s really more like an apartment building than a traditional hotel, and the registration desk is underground in the parking garage), we settled in to suite 302.

Our suite included two bedrooms, a living room with a fireplace, a full kitchen with all the amenities (including a dining area), a bathroom, full laundry, and a lovely “Juliette balcony” that overlooked Robson Street.

The hotel is only two blocks from the amazing Stanley Park, and right on the border between a residential & commercial area with bustling restaurants, bicycle rental shops, lots of restaurants, and a host of stores. Within easy walking distance of the nearby Banana Leaf Malaysian Restaurant (which we highly recommend), and both a Safeway and a BC Liquor Store for supplies, this is a great spot to settle in for a longer visit.

One special feature of the Times Square Suites is it’s rooftop patio full of plants, loungers, and barbecues available for guest use. Barbecuing a fresh-from-the-Granville-Island-Market feast with it’s view of the city, a glass of Meritage, plants covered in twinkle lights, and our family made for an absolutely heavenly memory. There are few other places we would consider staying on our next trip to Vancouver, BC

I loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. Heaven!! The warm birthday wishes, hand made card and treats were a lovely surprise. Thank you for the added thoughtfulness. I look forward to returning after the renovations are complete to see the new look.

Concierge was very kind and helpful with directions for new to Vancouver people like ourselves. Room was clean and quiet! Floor to ceiling windows with a view of Robson and beyond were breathtaking.

This hotel was terrible. The wifi did not connect half of the time, and even when it did, it was extremely slow. When we asked the guy at the front desk for help, he stated that this “had never happened before”. Obviously it has. So now i had to use my small data plan to send important work emails.

Loved the bed for comfort and I love the all white bedding with comforter. Loved the location, very handy to everything. Nice size of bathroom. We really enjoyed the view and lights. Front desk was very helpful for directions. Thank you

Nice location! Beautiful city view from our 27th floor room is shown in the picture. Staff was very helpful and kind.

Amazing friendliness and service where each staff member genuinely went out of their way to improve our experience here. A lasting memory was that of Christmas morning when I cheerfully greeted with our morning coffee by a festively dressed young lady bearing gifts and a Christmas card signed by the entire staff. A caring Vancouver experience that was the highlight of the morning! The Listel Hotel is where I will stay my next trip to Vancouver. Thanks to the entire staff! Also I think the best sushi in Vancouver is right across the street at Miko’s.

Friendly , helpful staff. Lots of eating places . Great for those who like Korean cuisine as their are numerous Korean restaurants. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant (Forage). My room service breakfast was outstanding.

Great location being central in the City area, close enough to all forms of transport and Stanley Park. We ate breakfast in the Hotel’s restaurant which was reasonably priced and the food fresh. Would recommend and stay at this Hotel again.

This hotel was a very good price compared to others in the area, but rooms are very dated. Very simple rooms and bathroom is average at best, but it’s all you need when you’re out and about all day. Great view from the cloud 9 restaurant up top, and an excellent location for walking to many good restaurants and shopping in the area.

Jock checked me in and gave me a wonderful overview of the food options in the area and a super view room for the sunset. Thank you.
Hotel will be closing end of September. Too bad. Had supper in the revolving restaurant. Amazing views. Mediocre quality hamburger in the lounge area.

Clean, comfortable adequate room in an excellent location. Tons of stores and restaurants outside the door. Staff both helpful and friendly. Yes, it is in need of some cosmetic work but sadly as it is scheduled to be demolished in the fall of 2018 this will not happen.
One word of caution – I would not recommend this hotel if you are travelling with children. The rooms have easily accessible balconies even at the highest levels!!

EXCELLENT service, from late check-in, assistance with excursions and sending me an item I forgot by mail. The staff truly went the extra mile. Room was very clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. There were even umbrellas, which we needed during the 2 rainy days we were touring Vancouver. Living room was large enough to accommodate our 3 snowboard bags. Location perfect for us — market, coffee shops, and lots of restaurants all within a block, Stanley Park a few blocks away. The staff arranged our cab to the pickup location for the Whistler Shuttle, including the special request for a minivan, and written confirmation of the reservation slipped under our door. Would definitely stay here again!

We were thoroughly impressed with The Times Square. We had a beautiful room, more like a studio apartment. Close to Stanley Park and a great assortment of restaurants and bars. The staff was exceptional!

We recently stayed two nights in a one bedroom + den for myself, my wife and son. Perfect! Everyone can get their own space. It’s not a hotel room, it’s a suite or apartment. Very well thought out and well appointed. Everything you could want or need for an overnight stay, or a month. You could not get more convenient to the downtown west end. Walk to everything! Very friendly staff and crew, immaculate housekeeping! I’ve seen 5 diamond properties that don’t live up to this standard of cleanliness. We’ll be back for sure.
