Hyatt Regency Hotel Vancouver

Stayed at the Hyatt the night before and after a cruise. Speedy check in and checkout process. Rooms were very clean- on both separate occasions (that we stayed there). It was very easy to get a cab to the cruise terminal; we simply stepped out of the door and the bellman called a cab over. There is a nicer restaurant and a Starbucks within the hotel. There is also a fast food breakfast place next door to the right and to the left, a Staples. If it is shopping or sight seeing that you want, head to Tiffany & Co, just a few hundred feet away or a head out the front door and make a left and walk down to the Vancouver Harbor. Stop by the Gelato place just on the corner, right before you head down to look at the harbor. Don’t worry, you’ll know where it is when you see a line of people out the door. Loved Vancouver, definitely will be back to visit!

Customer service is back at this hotel. Lightning quick and competent staff. The elevator system alone is enough to set this one apart but it is also very clean and cared for, minimalistic décor is refreshing. I rarely give a full 5 for a hotel but the staff and technology at this hotel make it stand apart. I will be back to this hotel.

This is like many other Hyatt Hotels I have stayed in so far: They are usually well equipped, huge and in the center of downtown. This one is no different.
Only comment I have to make: The pricing during weekend in May was incredible high. I guess this is more or less the case anywhere in the world during peak season, but what really drives me nuts is, that you are supposed to pay 300$ a night and this is neither including breakfast nor parking. It is incredible how much money is generated in North American hotels with these extras.
But that is just my opinion. I stayed on points this time. If I would have to be paying that much, I most probably would have chosen a cheaper B&B.

L’Hermitage Hotel Vancouver

Great hotel! Rooms are beautifully appointed and very spacious. Mine had lovely large opening windows and the gas fireplace was a lovely touch. The dining room was like a comfortable private club room and the breakfast had everything I wanted. The staff were all friendly and helpful. To top it off the lap pool is salt and perfectly heated.

My husband, I stayed at L’Hermitage Hotel three weeks ago. The experience was unexpected perfection. We are familiar with pretty hotels and good service but, the L’Hermitage raised the bar on almost every level.

The hotel is tasteful, The business office, lounge and breakfast areas are all well appointed and refined without being stuffy. The suites lack for nothing but what brings it all home is the customer service. From the people who checked us in, (and I need to give a special thanks to Elena) to every member of the staff, we were provided with superior, caring attention. We used to consider hotels a base to explore wherever we were visiting; now I understand how much a hotel can create and add to a vacation.

This lovely boutique hotel has beautiful rooms, an excellent location and such great service (especially Steven at the front desk whose suggestions were invaluable) that it truly made our vacation. We were sorry to leave!

It was wonderful hotel with very nice staff. Great location, convenient to dining, shopping and sightseeing. Steve was awesome at check in. Would definitely stay there again when we visit Vancouver again.

The staff was professional, polite and went out of their way to meet our needs whether it was helping with dining reservations, directions, ideas for activities around Vancouver. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. We had breakfast there twice and it did not disappoint. Our room was clean and our beds were comfy. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and fitness room. But perhaps the best thing about the hotel is it’s location: it is accessible to everything awesome about Vancouver from restaurants, shopping, activities, etc. We would love to come back and stay here!

We arrived at the L’Hermitage from an Alaskan Cruise. Since our arrival was in the morning hours the hotel was gracious enough to store our luggage and check us in. They recommended a hop on hop off bus tour while we waited for our rooms to become available. The rooms were very comfortable. The bathroom had a large bath tub which was great after 7 days of using a small ship bathroom shower. The staff was wonderful and eager to be of service to us and our traveling friends. Loved the 5th floor terrace area. The only down side to our visit was the mattress on our bed was a little worn and the guests staying across the hall from us were very loud during the early morning hours, but that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. I would definitely recommend staying here on a visit to Vancouver.

We had a great experience staying in the hotel and especially the customer service we received. We would like to specifically mention the excellent customer service provided to us by Amy. She went above and beyond in solving issues we had. She is extremely knowledgeable, fast, courteous and an excellent problem solver. Her service made our stay enjoyable!

The Hyatt Regency Vancouver is a wonderful hotel and in walking distance from so many things to see in the city. The hotel also has a Starbucks in the lobby (convenient for those of us with caffeine addictions) and an excellent restaurant, Mosaic, on the second floor. The outdoor pool and hot tub are also very nice for relaxing. But what really makes this hotel shine is the service. We asked the concierge, Vanessa, to help us book a whale-watching tour, and we mentioned we were in town for the Lady Gaga concert. When we returned to our room later that day, she surprised us with a note and some pre-concert drinks and snacks. That small gesture went a long way. We will stay here again when we return to Vancouver!

Loved the service, view and room. Traffic is an issue, but come on, you’re in the heart of an exceptional location. Sophisticated elevators are welcomed advantage. Would not change a thing. So happy here.

Rosewood Hotel Georgia Vancouver

Very comfortable hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Staff were able to cater for a variety of food intolerances for all meals, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Rooms and facilities were modern and well-maintained and serviced.

Old world sophistication mixed with all amenities of a modern 5 star hotel. Fantastic spa, awesome pool and fitness facilities, and excellent options to wine and dine, from Hawksworth restaurant, Prohibition nightclub and the cool roof bar. Rooms are spacious and super comfy. One of the best experiences I ever had

My husband and I checked into the Rosewood Hotel Georgia Wednesday evening a few days prior to a cruise to Alaska in celebration of a special anniversary. When we got into our room we were greeted with a special note congratulating us and a delicious small anniversary cake. When we went to start to unpack our luggage we realized that there were no drawers to place our clothes. There was one small closet in the room with a few hangers. We had 2 large suit cases filled with clothes for our cruise and were upset that there was no place to unpack our clothes My husband called the front desk to complain about this situation. At first we were told that they would bring portable drawers to our room. We got a call back from Melanie Savard telling us that they didn’t have any additional drawers to send us. Melanie then decided to upgrade our room to a suite which had 2 closets and plenty of room for our clothes. Melanie went above and beyond to make our stay beyond pleasant. Everyone we came in contact at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating.
I would definitely recommend the Rosewood Hotel Georgia to anyone that values service as an important component of travel..
My one suggestion is to evaluate the furnishings in the hotel rooms to make sure that there is sufficient room for people to unpack clothes. Not everyone comes with carry on luggage or wishes to keep there clothes in a suitcase

We found the hotel very convenient for exploring Downtown Vancouver and easy to get to from the airport on the Canada Line. We had a Superior Room; spacious especially the bathroom. The Lobby Decor we found a bit dark but all staff were helpful.
There was one hiccup when music was being played at 4 am from one of the Bars – it turned out that someone had accidentally switched the system on. Management was apologetic the next morning. That aside our room on the inner Courtyard was quiet.

From the moment we stepped into this lovely hotel we were made to feel special. We were welcomed with an orchid and box of chocolates shortly after settling in our room. Bed was turned down nightly and chocolates were left on the bed nightly. Fireplace was put on as well. Very clean and spacious rooms. Look forward to our next visit to Vancouver and will definitely stay at L’Hermitage Hotel. As a side I never leave reviews but this gem had to be praised!!

We arrived at 9:00 am not expecting our room to be ready but hoping it would not be a long wait. We stepped out of the cab we had taken from our cruise ship (a short 9 block drive) to be greeted by the doorman…didn’t get his name (very tall with a very slight European accent on Sunday May 27/17) and ever so warmly welcoming and greeting us by name! He took our luggage and we went to the desk. Melissa and Aellana (maybe missed spelled were at the front desk and were again so welcoming and helpful. They said our room would be ready as soon as it could be (they had a full house that morning with some not wanting to hurry out because they would be catching the ship we had just got off) Ailhana took us to the lounge where complimentary delicious coffee was served to us by another very pleasant young man. We were told we could enjoy the terrace, have breakfast but to be comfortable whatever we chose, and if we wanted to go off exploring they would keep our luggage safe. This is a lovely hotel really, one of the nicest we have been to for sometime. We enjoyed a delicious and fresh breakfast buffet for $21. each on the terrace, and then moved over to the pool area also outside. It is a small lap pool but really just paddling my feet in the salt water was refreshing while we waited. We were in our room by 11:08. Having a fireplace and furnished balcony, were just two of the several outstanding parts to our room. The bathroom was very large with a separate shower and separate toilet closet. The room was not tired looking in anyway and it was a treat to sit on the balcony enjoying the trees and birds and activity below us. So happy were we with the room and the quickness with which we were received I phoned down to the desk to tell them. I have never done that before, but thought it was very necessary. There was a Starbucks 1/2 a block away on Robson Street and while my husband used the Health Club I enjoyed reading and a Starbucks on the balcony. This was our day to “Chillax”. We have been to Vancouver before and so really didn’t need to be touring and L’Hermitage was the perfect spot to do so. If you do want to tour there are lots of places very close by you can walk to and the Concierge will graciously point the way and supply you with discount tickets for the trolley and the Hop On Hop Off. The turn down service left a note from the manager asking us to let them know if there was anything they could do to make our stay better. A nice personal touch also using our names and really…..there was nothing they could have possibly done to improve. The bed was so comfortable and after a good night’s sleep in the wonderful linens we head down to check out (with sadness). The same young man stepped up to get our luggage for the cab they had called for us. Alahna and another young man also very pleasant were there and said goodbye to us as though they were saying goodbye to old friends…the same way we had been greeted. This boutique hotel has hotel business down perfectly. Funnily it did not seem like business it felt more like they were genuinely welcoming us to their own homes. Thank you for a lovely reentry to life after cruising. I know I have not spelled or perhaps even given the wrong names but I didn’t have my glasses on to read with ease….really my sincere apologies…please tell your staff know should you read this that they deserve to have at the very least their names correctly given. As well congratulate them for doing their jobs with excellence. 5 star!!!! +++ I would not hesitate to tell my friends or strangers about this beautiful spot for a little getaway to refresh one’s self! Well done to your whole team!!!!

Hyatt Regency , on Burard street is walking distance from Canada pier and the waterfront. It’s also a few steps away from Vancouver s heart of shopping the Robson street .
The concierge and the front desk were very efficient and helpful . The lobby has a bustling Starbucks which is great if you are a coffee addict like me.
The room we were in was on the 26 th floor : fantastic views .
The guest room was very spacious , enough and more space to accommodate our 5 big suitcases , clean linens ,comfy bed as well.
We had a drink at Grains ,the bar . Seems to be a popular place for Vancouverians ! Nice.

Good location in downtown. Close walk to Canada place and main shopping streets nearby. We had a suite with room for our son on a rollaway in the lounge room section. Clean but dated including strange showers in the bathrooms. I would happily stay for business but wouldn’t bring my family again. Rooms were noisy from hallway noise but also walls shaking and doors rattling when other people closed their doors. Air con was also noisy or cut in and out in the night. The service was good though and restaurant ok.

The cost for us in a double room, $395 US, is more than the Trivago notices specify but worth the price. The view of Vancouver skyscrapers is stunning, the air conditioner works fine, and the room safe uses the latest technology which allows guests to lock the safe with just a touch of the room key. The Mosaic Grill downstairs serves a good hot breakfast (avoid the bagels), especially the stir fry vegetables. Housekeeping arrives almost by magic when the guests call the front office for a room cleaning. The ATM in the lobby is convenient particularly since the front desk limits currency changing to $200 US daily. A large selection of boutique stores are in the lobby and just next door is a mall with fast food of all types. There is a Starbucks on the lobby floor, in fact there seem to be Starbucks everywhere in Vancouver.

If you are searching for the best hotel in Vancouver, you can end your search now. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable and service is excellent. It’s located in a central area of Vancouver and you can walk to most places like Yaletown etc. Make sure you visit their basement lounge for live jazz and great people watching. The hotel also has a rooftop bar that is one of the hottest places to hang out. But, try not tell too many people about this hotel, we want it to remain a Vancouver secret.

Stayed at the hotel at either end of our trip to Canada. Firstly, the staff are really great, the waiters and the bar staff were so helpful and full of ideas of where to go and what to do. Food in the restaurant was excellent.

The 2nd stay was so much nicer as we had a corner room and it was just so much nicer and brighter.

The rooftop bar was also lovely and the spa looked amazing but unfortunately we couldn’t get a booking.

We just ended our stay at the Georgia and we’re definatley sad to leave. Everything was lovely from the staff to the rooms to the personal touches. We arrived very early off a cruise so our room was not ready however they stored our luggage and were able to check us in 1 hour earlier. We had a Deluxe room which was stunning; plently of storage space, lounge, large TV, mini bar, nespresso machine, king bed, large marble bathroom, enormous shower, heated floors and more. There was a personalised letter on arrival and a welcome message on the TV. When we came back for the evening our room had been set up for bed with slippers out, bottles of water and even wine and raspberries on the table (which i mentioned were my favourite). The pool was lovely, a great size and perfect temperature. We didn’t utilise the gym however it looked well equipped and the spa had a decent service menu. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return

I adored this place. I typically travel with family, and the suites here are spacious enough so that we’re not breathing on one another, and each room is stocked with plenty amenities. We booked the one bedroom boutique suite, and this was plenty of space for a family of four. A small kitchen (replete with pans, forks, and coffee maker), a washer and dryer, a separate living room with pull out sofa bed, 2 televisions, etc. What made this place extraordinary was the courteous and exemplary service. Everyday, someone would physically drop by our suite to ask if we needed anything, and give us some chocolates. We received complimentary breakfast vouchers for each day of our stay, and the breakfast buffet was actually quite tasty! The concierge was helpful in booking our taxi for our return to the airport. Everything was comfortable and clean and convenient. I can’t compliment this place enough. The location was convenient for us since we used public transport everywhere, and were walking distance to an H-Mart, which my family loves. For families, this L’Hermitage Hotel is perfect, and the hotel itself made our trip to Vancouver very memorable.

We spent our wedding night at L’Hermitage and it was so wonderful! The staff were all so professional and nice, the valet was easy to use, breakfast was delicious, and we were upgraded and received a bottle of wine in our room. The room was so spacious and had amazing amenities. The bed has to be one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on too. We would highly recommend staying here on a visit to Vancouver. Thanks for a wonderful stay, I hope to stay again soon!

Our second stay at L’Hermitage. The staff is beyond amazing! Professional, friendly, oh so helpful and there for you 24 hours a day. 5th floor lounge is a lovely area to relax over breakfast, cup of tea or cocktail. And the bed……so comfy! If you’re going to Vancouver, this is a great hotel!! Location is great as well.

I have a feeling this is not a new Hyatt but they make up for it with really good service. They also have a great central location in downtown. I also like the computer operated elevators that are quick and easy to operate. All in all you can’t go wrong staying at this Hyatt.

The Hyatt is located in downtown Vancouver. The hotel ia very modern and comfortable. The rooms are exceptional. Wonderful beds, linens and pillows. It was one of the best hotel stays I’ve experienced in many years. The only issue that was frustrating was the very slow check in process. Even though I checked in via my mobile, I had to wait for a front desk attendant which took well over 10 min as there was a line up and only 1 attendant. For the size of the hotel and number of people waiting….i believe I was not the only person irritated by the wait time. Otherwise a good stay.
This is a nice hotel very centrally located close to water front, shopping, great pubs and restaurants , very friendly staff, the best thing is Mcdonalds and Timmy’s right next door, also Starbucks on site..
Just a 10 minute walk from Canada Place and adjacent to the Metro. This is a great place to stay. Comfortable and good size rooms. Service was first class. Every thing you’d expect from this sort of hotel. Easy walking to everywhere downtown. Highly recommend.
