Stayed here twice. First time the room was nice, updated washroom and furniture. Second time was a dated room with pealing paint on the ceiling in the washroom. Great location, good restaurant in the building.
We had a great stay for New Year’s Eve 2016. Check was easy, staff was pleasant. Parking was great and accessible, close to the elevator. We brought our 2 dogs and everyone loved them. Our room was small, but it’s just a room, so we were fine with that. The only complaint I would have would be with the other people staying in rooms close to us, but you can’t change that. So we were happy. The location was great!! Couldn’t ask for anything better which offered pet friendly rooms. The bed was comfy and clean. We will stay again.
Upon entering the sandman I thought the location was convenient and that it looked great and would be a great place to stay as I’ve never been disappointed with the Sandman hotels before. Once I entered my room I was shocked at how small it was! My 9yr old daughters bedroom is bigger than the room we were given! The bed was not comfortable, there is no closet to hang jackets or put shoes aside. Our suitcases were on the floor because there was no where to put them and half the time we were tripping over them! I didn’t relax at all because I couldn’t in this room so most of the time I kept telling my husband “let’s go somewhere” or “get me out of here!” I personally wouldn’t stay here again. I suppose the only benefit was having a restaurant (Moxies) and a lounge (Shark Club) attached to hotel.
Stayed here the night before my friend’s wedding where I was in the bridal party. The accommodations were decent. We booked a suite with a kitchenette, however noticed things such as sugar for the coffee was lacking. There were no toiletries and we had to call reception throughout the evening for various things that hotel suites are typical to have.
We had confirmed ahead of time for reception to book two taxis to take us to the wedding venue. But when we arrived downstairs to hopefully leave, we find out no taxis were ever called. Additionally, front desk was very unhelpful and did not call any taxis for us when we noticed the problem. Instead we received sass.
The bride had to track down one taxi for herself, and I and another bridesmaid were left to find a taxi for ourselves. As there was construction on Davie Street at the time, few taxis actually passed by. I had to ask the hostess at the Moxies in the hotel to call a taxi for us and they were kind enough to do so. Luckily, with help from Moxies and a few kind guests we just made it in time for all of us to make it down the aisle.
Good location with many eating places around. There are supermarkets and a drugstore nearby. The suites come with kitchen facilities which you can cook for the family. Staff was friendly. As we stayed for 10 days, they were nice to accord us comp half day use. Will definitely return in the future

I was looking for a hotel near Stanley Park, that was pet friendly, and came across this hotel . After reading the reviews, I decided to book them. We arrived after hours, had to buzz the care taker. Person on the intercom buzzed us in, told us to look for our name on the wall by the office, and follow the instructions to our suit. We did as instructed, found our suit, and were completely impressed! We had booked the 2 bedroom unit, which is a full apartment, including wood floors, fully equipped kitchen and super comfy beds. As others have stated, the place is nice and quiet, and we had a great sleep. The location to the park was why we booked, and wow! It sure was nice! It was cold and wintery, which is unusual for Vancouver, but the walk was gorgeous! We will 100% stay there again, and we’ll tell all our friends about it. It’s more like a home away from home, than a hotel.
Rosellen Suites is located near Stanley Park and an international street with lots of interesting shops and restaurants. We reserved a single bedroom suite, but wound up with a 2 bedroom suite for the same price. Our very reasonable room rate was a special on here. Parking under the building is $20 Canadian/night. Our suite had a fully equipped kitchen and a nice dining area perfect for people who prefer to cook their own meals. Everything was very clean. We used their electric fireplace for added heat and atmosphere. Upon arrival it is important that the front desk know your approximate arrival time. You must “buzz in” from the pad near the front door and they will open the door. Street parking is very limited, but we found a temporary spot so we could check in. The desk attendant was very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.
Very friendly front desk staff,
Nice room with little kitchen. There is no dishwasher, and housekeeping does not wash the dishes. So not sure how this would rate for hygiene guess you just have to trust the previous occupants.
Could use some hooks behind the bathroom door. No place to hang your towels etc.
Also a coat rack when entering would be handy.
The bedroom closet is very small.
Breakfast is quite boring and basic.
Steam room is nice, swimming pool is small and not deep, good for young children.
we were on the 15 th floor with 2 very small double beds and I did not like the layout of this room. Bed is right up against the window and the sitting room is dark with no view.
We stayed here for 3 nights right after the new years. Having never been to Vancouver, the location seemed perfect for us. Very easy to get to Gastown/ Granville Island/etc. The hotel had great parking/ very nice layout for the suite/ but we loved the bed and the pillows were fantastic and tried to look them up on line.Bottom line: We definitely would go back here without looking up any others.
We had very enjoyable at this hotel. I stay here with my family. The suite room is very good. Very recommended. Next time we come to Vancouver we choice to stay at here. The front desk staff are very helpful. The best thing is the location of this hotel is. Its location near restaurant. All in within walking distance.

This hotel came our way through a promotion…so I did not think it was going to be this quality. the room was so comfortable that we were thinking of purchasing a property that size for our family of 4 as our city pad.
The kitchen was small, efficient, well stocked, and thoughtfully designed. Beds were very comfortable. Amenities were all as you would expect from a large chain like Marriott.
The best part is tbe breakfast…. it really was the best self served buffet I have ever seen. You felt you were in a full service restaurant. Great setup.
We were very impressed with our stay at the Residence Inn. Came into town for a girls weekend and needed a little kitchenette to accommodate a strict diet. This worked perfectly and was within walking distance of many amenities. We had a great stay
The Residence Inn Vancouver is a conveniently good located hotel in Vancouver downtown. Mike at the Front Desk is the Star of the hotel. Rooms are very spacious and well decorated, the pillows are amazing. Book this hotel.

The staff was super attentive. Our house keeper was the best. Everyone was really nice. The place was very clean and the location is great
Room was small, but beds were very comfy. Free wifi was good and the apples at the front desk were good. Close to tons of great restaurants
Staff were very polite, very helpful, knowledgeable about Vancouver and how to get around. King sized bed was great but also extremely comfortable
We love staying here at this Hotel. It’s over 100 yrs old , modern yet has historic values ! Beds are awesome for a great nights sleep , decent breakfast down stairs . staff is awesome , 2 blocks from Gastown , great places to eat and pubs within a couple of minutes walk . Canada Place , Stanley Park are within a short distance as well . If you are looking for a place that they love their customers , close to all sites to see , Great value and 3 blocks from the skytrain …then you have to try here !!
A great downtown location, on the edge of Gastown. Best prices you will find in this area. Service is friendly, I asked for a quiet room and they accommodated. Wifi is free and works reasonably well.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable. There is a flat screen tv and sheets were comfy. The room is rather small, but you are probably not spending a lot of time in your room.
There are 2 Ramadas in downtown Vancover this one being at 435 Pender Street near the cruise ship terminal and the other Ramada on Granville Street in the entertainment district. Guests are offered a complimentary hot continental breakfast, and free WIFI!

We booked straight through the hotel and got a great price for a 5 night stay. We were lucky enough to be booked into the sixth floor which I understand to be a good thing. Apparently it can get quite noisy on the lower levels. Very central and close to everything, the rooms were cleaned daily and were comfortable for two people. We both had our own bed, in saying this, the room is quite small, I would not try and fit four people in these rooms despite being advertised as a four person room.
I did have an issue with wifi connection and could only connect downstairs, not a massive deal but was slightly annoying when it came to keeping in touch with friends at home. Overall a good stay in a comfortable hotel.
We were downtown overnight for a Canucks game. The room was clean, well decorated and basic. We had no complaints and the bed was so comfortable! The location of this hotel is optimal. We spent a couple hours at the Morrisey (?) next door to the hotel. It was also great. There is also a loud club, Twelve West on the other side. Neither impeded our sleep. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
We came for a quick one night getaway right before Christmas. Location is great, close to wonderful restaurants and the Vancouver Christmas market. Our room was great, we got a water view and highly recommend it. Will be going back.
Hi again all was great. The staff at all posts, atmosphere, everything. rooms great with a superior view. There was nothing I didn’t appreciate. Very easy to get to and from. See you next time I am in Vancouver.
we arrived early to the hotel (10:30 am ) and to our pleasant surprise we were able to get an early check in which we were so grateful for especially after a long flight from Sydney. Also we were able to get a late check out without any hesitation. The staff were friendly and most helpful.
Rooms were nice and well insulated from neighbour’s sounds; in-suite toiletries were nice. Staff were very friendly; restaurant meal options were limited but food was good; unfortunately lacking in local craft beer selections; close to waterfront
The location of the hotel was within walking distance to bus and train terminals/ main shopping streets/ grocery shops/ main attraction areas such as Gas Town and Harbourside .
The room was nice and clean and large enough for the 3 of us.
Overall could not fault the place and would recommend it to fellow travellers.
Overlooking Coal Harbour, the Pinnacle Hotel Vancouver Harbourfront features an indoor pool and fitness centre. Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre is less than 10 minutes’ walk away. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a desk and an en suite bathroom. A fully-equipped Health & Fitness Centre that features a relaxing indoor pool Whirlpool and spectacular harbour views.
Comfortable, quiet, clean and a five minute walk from Vancouver General Hospital. Staff is friendly and accommodating in both the hotel and restaurant, and the food is very good. The Sky train is within short walking distance, and taxis and buses are readily available right outside the entrance door.
Very nice clean and convenient hotel in good area. Around hotel there are lot of restaurants, coffee shops. Not too far from subway station. Not too far from downtown. Stuff is very polite and helpful. Definitely will return again in this hotel on my next visit and recommencement to everyone who need to stay in Vancouver.
I found this hotel incredibly convenient for my an appointment I had at VGH. VGH is literally around the corner. I walked to the hotel from the Skytrain and there were some nice restaurants in the area.
This was my third trip to Vancouver in less than a year for medical reasons. I stayed at the Park Inn and Suites every time, first because of its’ proximity to VGH and the following trips because I was very pleased with the hotel. The staff were helpful and the restaurant serves good food, reasonably priced, with prompt service. The Skytrain terminal is also very close, making arrival from the airport efficient and economical. Will return to the Park Inn and Suites if further medical treatment becomes necessary.
