Rosewood Hotel Georgia Vancouver

Arrived New Year’s Eve and could not have felt more welcome. We have visited Vancouver many times over the last 8 years and stayed in various centrally located hotels. The Rosewood Georgia is up there with the best and we will most definitely return. Executive room had an amazing bathroom with marble floor and freestanding central bath

This is simply one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The location in the centre of downtown Vancouver is perfect, the rooms are beautifully appointed, spacious and immaculate, the lobby is cozy, elegant and stylish and best of all the staff and service levels are outstanding. Everything was just flawless. There were also lots of lovely extra touches, such as the turn down service each night which included free biscuits and bottled water, the high quality and range of toiletries provided, the teddy bears and kid sized gowns and slippers provided for the children … and the list goes on. The hotel is not cheap, but is in the same price range as many very average and forgettable hotels I’ve stayed in before. It’s such a pleasure to stay in a hotel where management really seems to understand what their guests are looking for. I will definitely be back.

This was a working trip..have stayed here before….perfect location, beautiful hotel, warm welcoming staff…..gracious rooms..it rained sideways for 3 days so the hotel lobby bar was Perfect for drinks &dining….will be back….The Spa is second to none….
A stunning hotel with hands down the best service and attention to detail. I have two young children, and the staff went above and beyond our expectations to make them feel welcome, comfortable and spoiled! It made our stay that much more enjoyable

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel the previous two years in December while in town to attend a company Christmas party. Very quaint hotel, comfortable beds, average bathrooms. Breakfast in hotel always very good but this previous visit served the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. Considering the market nearby with amazing coffee accessible don’t know what was being served that day!

We were above the delivery entrance and recycling area. And it was noisy with truck back up alarms early in the morning and dumpster divers going at it at night. Pick your room location with care. We have stayed here twice before and been very satisfied.

Had a great stay here. Staff was great. The service was responsive and professional. The restaurant was fantastic. Great views of the water. I would highly recommend this hotel to people travelling to Vancouver.
Must open the lounge, we paid for the whole hotel, and you have to give folk somewhere to sit and relax other than the restaurant and their room. It was the boat show weekend so lots of guests and lots of visitors around.

Wonderful service was the highlight of this trip. Relaxing, private, and so comfortable.
The location was outstanding, central to everything. We managed to run the sea wall on a glorious sunny Vancouver day. Spa and gym facilities are amongst the best in Vancouver. We will be back!

Very happy with our stay and it was enhanced with top quality service. Daphne from concierge was very helpful in booking transportation to whistler. Would definitely come back.
(P.s. LOVED the heated floors!!)
Traveling to Vancouver is always a pleasant experience with the friendliness of the people, good service and convenience of the city. At the Rosewood I felt our stay in Vancouver was elevated to the next level, making all our other Van hotel experiences (Loden, Sutton Place and Opus) seem basic in comparison.

The exterior belies the beauty of the inside. While a bit dimly lit; the artwork, high ceilings and historic architecture exudes a feeling of contemporary luxury. While it would seem that a hotel with this type of feel would have snobby staff, Service is friendly from the valet, bellboys and continues to the front desk.

We took advantage of a friends wedding rate that was quite competitive. This did not include valet parking which was quite pricey. It’s hard to find parking nearby so this was the best option for us.

The deluxe room is spacious and comfortable. Very modern bathroom which was almost the same size as the room if not bigger. Double sinks separate soak tub and rainforest shower and toilet areas create an even more luxurious feel. The bed is also comfortable.

What made the stay even better and memorable was that we were traveling with our one year old and every request was met before we arrived. A crib, baby monitor , bottle warmer, bath tub and baby soap were all set up before we arrived. Even the crib sheets were above the usual cotton provided with a bear. The room was immaculately cleaned each day which was great. Additionally every time we passed by reception we were asked if we needed anything else.

My only complaint is the lack of dining options at the hotel. We went to their fine dining restaurant and thought it was just okay and with a toddler better dining options are outside of the hotel.

The hotel and staff were absolutely marvellous; welcoming, pleasant, warm and inviting, upscale and comfortable. I look forward to staying here again in the future. The food was absolutely scrumptious. My compliments to the chef!

This is a nice quiet boutique hotel on Granville Island, a fun place to stay. I enjoyed having the chance to explore Granville Island. Everything was clean and the hotel was exceptionally quiet. I took transit one night and it was pretty quick to downtown

First class service in a beautiful facility. Great central location. Excellent F&B options with excellent drinks & food. The waitstaff in the Lobby Bar, particularly Vanessa, was great. We would return with pleasure and will definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Thoroughly updated, heritage with a somewhat European feel. Hotel is very clean with an elegant ambiance and attention to detail. I love these rooms, they are well laid out with contemporary decor and beds are very comfortable! I am all about the bathroom, so this hotel excels, heated floors, marble, rain shower and of course the fantastic tubs. Love Prohibition with its intimate sophisticated cool, and Reflections, always restorative in the summer is now open through December with a festive winter ambiance; a unique space with cool cocktails and great food. House car, a Bentley, is available to guests. Staff don’t hover but neither are they super warm, that said i love this hotel!

Excellent location and service in the heart of Vancouver on Granville Island is the reason I keep returning to this hotel.

The proximity to the market and an easy foot ferry or bus ride (route 50) gets you downtown and ro Stanley Park.

We decided to stay in the Granville Island Hotel as we wanted to truly experience Granville Island. And we are so glad we did. Friendly staff, luxurious bedding and a wonderful location made for a memorable stay and a great weekend. We are happy to recommend the Granville Island Hotel.

Its the perfect Hotel if you want to be close to Downtown , but get away from the traffic and noise . If you haven’t tried the Granville Island Hotel , Then you really should !!!. You can walk to great restaurants or just stay right in the hotel , you never have to leave . Its up to you .

We love staying here. The walk to the public market is fun, as is the market. To eat dinner at the Dockside, with all the lights surrounding, is spectacular; breakfast is also very pleasant. We have been coming here many years, and are looking forward to our next visit!

I arrived in Vancouver for a one-day stop via Tokyo.
The staff were helpful and courteous, and the location on Granville Island was superb; what a charming place! I didn’t make use of the hotels facilities, but the room was clean, extremely comfortable and great value at short notice. They accommodated me with an early check-in. I’d stay here again!

I’ve eaten here previously but never stayed in the hotel. Really happy that I decided to reserve a room for the night, great location, the room was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful, in fact the only thing that was ideal was the weather but it is Vancouver and Granville Island has lots of places to explore and stay dry. I would strongly recommend this hotel and restaurant to

I loved it, best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From start to finish everyone was so genuinely friendly and funny. I’ve booked to go back already and I cannot wait. The turndown service is a nice little extra.

We stayed there for 3 nights, arriving in Vancouver after a long flight from Europe. It was the perfect place to start our vacation. The hotel has a lot of old world charm while being in excellent condition and nicely decorated. The service and staff are excellent and very friendly. The location is absolutely perfect as it is close to anywhere you would want to go. The room was also stunning with an even more stunning bathroom. This hotel is definitely worth staying in.

We had a wonderful stay, the room was luxurious, and the bed was amazing! The bathroom was a little small to navigate in with two people, but otherwise, a fabulous stay. Thank you for accommodating us and making our stay enjoyable.
Great fun! Comfy beds, Great location, just don’t think hotels should charge for parking even though G.I.H. charges less than others for parking, over all though great holiday ! Would stay here again!
From the outside the hotel doesn’t look much… but its much better inside. Rooms are clean and comfy and the staff are very helpful and attentive. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant but it was good and also lots of healthy options. The view is a delightful one of the marina.

They do have a few bikes for hire, on a first come first serve basis but at the end of the season, some of the bikes were out of action, when we were finally sorted the hotel gracefully decided to not charge for hire.

Best of all is the location… Close to downtown and Kitsilano and a short ride away from Stanley Park, but has a feel of being a little oasis away from the crowds.
