Ramada Downtown Vancouver Granville

This hotel is a good location with easy access to everything Although I do prefer the West Pender location this one was close to Yale town, the water front and a pleasant walk to the little ferry to Granville Island.

Could not believe the price of this hotel downtown Vancouver with a huge country star in town performing. Staff was great
Great location. 15 min walk to BC place or Rogers Arena. 10 min walk to water taxi for Grenville Island. Lots of restaurants and bars near by. Room was small but clean and funtional. Bed was comfortable.
But this hotel did have it’s downside.
For our taste..pillows were rock hard. We requested new/softer pillows but none came.We ended up putting clothes in the pillow case and used them for pillows.
We were in room 520 which was at the back of the building and an alley way outside our window..garbage truck came early every morning to collect the trash..very noisy.
For the reason of the pillows alone, I would not stay at this hotel again but that is the only reason.
Great location, clean rooms, room was a quite small with 2 the double beds. Great friendly staff.

I arrived in the evening & was greeted by Zuzana the desk clerk who was extremely helpful being a first time visitor to Vancouver she gave me a room that was in the rear of the hotel away from the street noise she also suggested some great places to eat…her overall personality made me feel right at home and I will stay there again on my next stay…

The location was good for our purposes (Vancouver Boat Show and visiting relatives), and the price was fantastic for downtown Vancouver
– the cleaning staff were friendly and very conscientious

The room was clean and in good shape but the hotel is older and for the money I would stay there again

The hotel is located in the ‘entertainment district’ part of the city, which certainly has some interesting characters both day and night. While we did not encounter any issues, the area does not feel safe after dark.

눇On-site parking, hotel located close to convenience stores and within walking distance to the IGA supermarket, close to public transport, strong wifi, and the amenities available on level 1 were an added bonus (microwave, boiling water, tea/coffee/hot chocolate). The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, and also included a coffee maker.

Stayed here for one night after a long flight. Check in was fast and all the front desk staff were very friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. Nice amenities in the bathroom. The bright spotlight shining up the side of the building means quite a bit of light leaking through the blinds but we were exhausted and it didn’t matter much. Overall this is good value for downtown Vancouver.

The best things about this hotel are the price and the location. The rooms also have a fridge, a coffee maker, a microwave, comfortable beds, and laminate floors rather than carpet, which I liked. The staff tried hard and were friendly and eager to please. They kept our bags for us after we checked out, all day until it was time for us to leave, which was great. It was quiet at night, the blackout curtains kept out sound and light, and there were buses going by all the time, so it was convenient to either use public transit or to walk. There were some issues, however, which kept it from being a really good or great place to stay. First, there was rather a lot of black mould growing on the window ledge and window sides, above an air conditioner/heater that did not work. (Power light said it was ON, but the buttons underneath the broken lid would not respond to changes and it kept blowing cold air vigorously out at undetermined intervals.) Our room (306) definitely seemed to have some moisture issues (it was a renovated old building, I think) and there was a slight musty smell in the bathroom if you kept the door shut for long. The power outlets on our desk didn’t work. Also, housekeeping did not change the used mugs or glasses, nor did they replenish the coffee supplies after we used them. So, we had to wash the cups with a bar of hand soap in order to use them again, when we would have expected fresh clean cups and mugs daily. We had to ask for more coffee supplies and the front desk denied any knowledge of how housekeeping works or what we could expect.

I would recommend this hotel everything was great. The staff the cleanliness, the rooms are comfortable overall nothing to complain about. The location is great lots to do during the day or night. As I had an appointment at Vancouver Hospital the cab fare was cheap $20.00 with tip included.

We stayed in this hotel because of its location and the fact that we have always had a good stay at the Best Western hotels. This hotel was clean and pleasant staffed with helpful and nice people. Location was fantastic as it is in walking distance to great sites, fantastic food and right on the subway line. This Best Western did not disappoint and would be happy to stay here again.
We stayed in a very comfortable and clean one bedroom suite. The beds were very comfortable with nice bedding and plenty of pillows. We were on the 4th floor so the street noise was very noticeable, but given the area of town and the fact it was a Saturday night, not surprising, and not the hotel’s fault. We had breakfast in the Edge restaurant, it was not inexpensive, but very tasty and generous portions. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We had a wonderful time Front desk staff where pleasant and helpful as where all other staff. The hotel was clean and the beds where super comfy. Location was perfect. It was easy to get to attractions in the city.

We sent two nights before the California Cruise. Very nice property, clean and comfortable, easy parking, excellent staff and great pub next door for provided breakfast. Our reception was very pleasant and the staff were helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel was close to our medical appointment. The room was small but clean and comfortable. WiFi good and strong.
2 free glasses of wine after 5 pm, and a very good hot breakfast included. And the pub was very nice and the dinner food quite good. Very quiet in the hotel and signs around the hotel indicating it took a very strong stance against noise after 10 pm.
Only surprise was a $25 charge for the hotel parking next door.
We would certainly stay here again.

Central location, helpful staff. Unlike other reviewers, I didn’t find noise to be a problem (even on weekend nights, and I had a corner room facing two main streets), but I was on a higher floor.

The odd thing about the room was the layout and priorities. I had a single queen bed, with a very tiny area around a TV and small desk. But the bathroom had a truly enormous jacuzzi tub. Obviously this hotel had been remodeled at some point and the bathroom looked very “modern” and large, but they must have repurposed some walls or something to create the layout of this room.

Anyhow, despite the quirky layout, the room was perfectly fine. Just be aware if you’re here on business expecting a large desk or work area (or even a normal “sitting area” around the TV), some of the rooms may not be designed for that.

Wonderful hotel. Hidden gem in Granville street. Excellent location at an affordable price. Less than 2 blocks away from the Canada Line station. Very convenient if you’re coming from the airport. Rooms were nice, beds comfy and the washroom was spotless. Try to book a room with breakfast included. It was a really good breakfast, which was served in the Irish pub that’s next to the hotel (both places are connected by inside, so it’s not necessary to leave the building).

It was a great place to stay because it was good walking distance to the mall, just a couple blocks or more. Not too far from Rogers Arena and BC Place. Tim Horton’s was just across the street so it was a perfect place for us. The beds were comfy, I booked double beds but we got a free upgrade to queen beds and that made us really happy. Friendly service!

Not much to look at outside but inside it was very nice. The bed and pillows were great and the room was very clean. The front desk staff were kind, helpful and attentive. Even the maid crew were polite in passing. Very nice central location with surprisingly little noise. Parking overnight was not covered(secured) unfortunately and quite expensive. Lots of alternative options for overnight parking g around. Would stay again.

The staff – both at checkin and checkout were very friendly and pleasant. Remarkably so. At $88 the room was very well priced, compared to nearby competition, and clean. I really value quiet and this room delivered; it was a peaceful night.

Stayed with 2 adults and 3 kids, this was the only hotel out of 4 i called that put us all up in 1 room. Stay was great, room was great
The front desk clerk was very helpful and nice. Parking was confusing and the room was a little small with one of the beds right next to the door. Bathroom was a good size
We had the king room. Smallest room I have every had … anywhere. Our shower didn’t work. The prices were hiked for that weekend ( wish I had known.) cost us over 600$ for 2 nights. The 3rd night being only 74$. Very loud. Some kind of construction going on. But good location

Stay here for several days after a long haul flight.Found the room to be clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with.Prices are reasonable and had no hesitation in rebooking prior to return flight.Having the White Spot Bar & Restaurant adjoining the property was an added bonus

If you are attending an event on Granville Street (e.g. at The Vogue or the Orpheum) then this is a good place to stay as those venues are within walking distance. We stayed here in the past when it was a different hotel brand, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the rooms have been upgraded. Recommended!
