Best Western Chateau Granville Hotel Vancouver

Great room, comfy beds. Walking distance to everything. The bar and restaurant downstairs are fantastic. Such kind and friendly wait staff. Come for the comfy beds stay for the food and drinks. Very pleasant atmosphere.

I’d like to highlight the staff in this review. The staff were lovely and quite professional in their service. Just because of them I’d consider staying again. The stay was without issue, and the room was comfortable! The room was clean and stocked… couldn’t understand the tv channels.. but I’m assuming I had to pay, when I’ve never had to at other hotels. Overall great experience

The hotel is located in downtown Vancouver and is a 15 minute walk from the Scotia Tower station which is on the Canada line. The Canada lines runs from Vancouver (YVR) airport and downtown. A taxi from the airport cost $31.00. The reception staff on arrival were very friendly and check in only took a few minutes. There is a restaurant and coffee shop in the hotel. The gym is modern and open 24/7. If you wish to park a car at the hotel the cost is $17.00 (+tax) per day. The one bedroom suites come with kitchen and separate bedroom for more privacy. Our friend stayed in a studio suite which also had a kitchenette yet the bed was in the same room as the lounge. There is an IGA supermarket a short walk down Burrard street which is open until midnight most nights.

Great neighbourhood for restaurant and coffee shop choices, access to the beaches and Stanley Park. Friendly staff. Small quibble with the older tub and tile surround in an otherwise well renovated bathroom. Good hardworking housekeeping staff.

We stay here whenever we are in Vancouver. The locations right on English Bay makes all events reachable. There are many good ethic restaurants within walking distance. The facilities are a little older, but have been upgraded beautifully. We always get an exceptional sleep due to comfortable beds, good bedding, windows that open to let in air, and the quietness of the area. The rooms are large, very clean, good bathroom amenities and a feeling of comfortableness. The staff are always very professional, helpful and smiling. We would not hesitate to recommend this facility to others and will stay here again.

Auberge Hotel Vancouver

One night stay in August. Ideal location close to subway and Canada Place, We were upgraded to a suite – lots of space, harbour view,, but the bedroom and bathroom were both tiny…. the suite seemed to be two single rooms combined, Kitchenette in lounge of suite a bit strange for an expensive CBD hotel (though probably cheaper than the Fairmont almost next door), but useful. Furnishings w were a bit tired. However all was clean and quiet, ideal and recommended for our purpose of a one night transit.

The location is excellent close to ferry terminal, close to shops and eateries, also the shipping terminal for cruise ships. Staff were friendly, free breakfast. Rooms excellent with great view of the city, we had the high rooms on the top floors which offered great views.

This was our choice for a 3-day stay in Vancouver prior to a cruise. The people were very friendly and helpful and the room was large and well cared for. Fresh cookies on the front desk in the evening! Walking around town is easy with this hotel as a starting point.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Best Western Chateau Granville. We got an excellent value for a very good room in downtown Vancouver. The restaurant provided a very good breakfast. I also enjoyed a workout in the modern fitness center.

Our heater didn’t work with -2 degrees temperature. They brought a heater, our luck that didn’t work either. And there was no other room available that night. They brought up extra blankets.
The next day our room was changed and they also treated us to a great breakfast for 2. Jonathan was excellent and took care of the inconvenience that we experienced really well. We’ll stay there again.

I stayed here for 4 nights in August with my husband and 2 girls. The outside of the hotel looks quite dated, but don’t be put off! This reception area of the hotel is lovely and modern, and our room was really spacious with the most stunning view straight down Burrard Street. Arriving from the UK we were awake the first morning ridiculously early and were treated to the most gorgeous sunrise! The room was big – separate bedroom and large lounge/kitchenette. The girls each had their own fold up beds and the room was big enough to leave them both out and still had a sofa to sit on and admire the view! The pool in the basement was a bit of a disappointment, but we were too busy seeing the sights anyhow!
Superb location – IGA supermarket just a few mins down the road, a superior Starbucks over the road, 5 mins walk to Brekka bakery which was open 24 hrs (again great when we woke at 4am!), bus stops right outside. We were slightly concerned to find we were next door to a hospital, but it didn’t really disturb us – to be honest anywhere in central Vancouver you would hear the odd siren! Basically it was good value , spacious and clean so we would recommend!

Great place to stay-near the water front. City is a lot of fun to visit. Close to the water taxis that will shuttle you around the bay at a very reasonable price. Local people are very interesting and fun to talk to. Taxi cab drivers are most helpful.

Steps away from English Bay, and walks on promenade or Beach. The views, the ambience are unparalleled. Restaurants galore.
I like the in-house, community pub/restaurant with good food at reasonable prices. Easy parking and transportation. Walk the safe area. Relaxing.

Auberge Hotel Vancouver

My husband and I stayed at Auberge Vancouver Hotel after our Alaska Cruise last Sept 23-24, 2017. We got this room from Booking.com. Great location, It is about 7mins walk from Canada Place. Check-in was a breeze. Our room was spacious and very clean. Bedding was comfortable. Staffs are courteous and service was excellent. Continental breakfast is complimentary. We also tried booking Auberge prior our Alaska cruise last Sept 13-15, however, it was fully booked that period. We stayed at a different hotel, a well known brand, but service and quality is not as impressive as Auberge. We would say it’s our top choice hotel in downtown Vancouver.

The Auberge hotel has consistently provided great stays for us whether we are a family trip or couples trip. The rooms are always clean and comfortable with great views even if you aren’t in an ocean view. The city night views are beautiful. The pool is beautiful and very large. On family trips in the summer we enjoy the amenities on the deck while the kids swim in the pool still in eye view beside us. The gym is great has everything my gym has at home if not more. The continental breakfast is great and the kids love it too which can be a challenge at some places. Overall we stay here on most our Vancouver trips for the good service , beautiful rooms, pool and breakfast. Location is walking distance to so much downtown it’s ideal. If your flying in harbour air it’s a 5 minute walk. The pub is excellent and nice to have at location of hotel. This hotel beats a lot of others for the price you pay and service you get

Ramada Limited Hotel Vancouver

Price: Very Reasonable
Service: Great. Made you feel like a valued customer
Room: Cozy but had a nice big bathroom. Perfect place to stay if you’re not planning on being in the room much.
Breakfast: Typical continental breakfast. Did the job
the Beds: Comfy

The hotel rooms and lobby were refreshed, clean, and cozy. The staff were friendly and professional. Downtown location made it easy to see what we wanted. I think it was a great find & would stay there again.

I reserved 5 rooms for our family after our Alaska cruise. The hotel was fabulous! We arrived early and the staff went out of their way to secure our luggage and offer guidance as to our one day visit. They were extremely helpful from the time we arrived until the time we left. One member of our group commented that she was reminded of a small boutique European hotel. EXCELLENT!!

We stayed at the Ramada in downtown Vancouver for 4 nights in June 2017. It was an old building and was a little tired but very clean and comfortable. We found the location ideal, close to many attractions and different neighbourhoods in the city. Most everything was within walking distance. The staff was terrific. Very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend it to anyone.

Pan Pacific Hotel Vancouver

Amazing, helpful, competent and kind staff from the valet to the gym! No matter your needs they are amazing!

Beautiful views. Excellent food! Try the butter chicken…

And it’s right next to Fly Over Canada which I love too!

Pan Pacific Vancouver epitomizes “Best in Class”. I did a ton of research prior to finally choosing this hotel amongst the list of Downtown Vancouver hotels – and this Ranks #1!

It has the “best view” of the Harbour. It is the “best in location” and central to Stanley Park, Gastown, Fly Over Canada, Robson St, free shuttle to Capilano Suspension Bridge or Grouse Mountain and more… We were there for one week and did not require a car because all was convenient.

No words can express the level of professionalism, class and service the Pan Pacific Vancouver offered my family. It all starts from the GM Craig Norris-Jones who exemplified the pure meaning of best in class in customer service. Along with his colleague Kathryn, they ensured all needs were met.

I highly highly recommend staying on the 23rd floor – the Pacific Club Floor Lounge. Not only are the suites fully refurbished with sophistication, the attention that ever guest received is outstanding.

Under Joel’s excellent direction, my family and I had a great experience and wanted to thank him and the PCL team – Aileen, Kenette, Executive Sous-Chef Stefan & Executive Chef Jeff. We appreciate all of your efforts and assistance especially with our food allergies.

Enjoy the beautiful city of Vancouver and stay at the Pan Pacific – a memorable vacation you will never forget.

Excellent hotel. Conveniently located for all downtown activities.
We had a high floor, corner king bedroom. Very spacious. Extreamly quiet, clean and comfortable.
Would definitely stay here again when visiting Vancouver.
