The Westin Grand is VERY conveniently located ! Everything right at the door step. The staff is exceptional from the front desk, door and restaurant lounge. We were allowed to check in early after a red-eye flight, which allowed us to cat nap before we hit the city! The room was very clean and spacious. My only complaint about the corner suite is that it is laid out kinda weird with a lot of wasted space at the entry..
Will stay at this property again for sure!
Located downtown Vancouver, The Westin Grand’s prime location at the crossroads of trendy Yaletown and Robson streets puts you close to the cities best dining, shopping, and entertainment.
We had a really spacious room on a high floor (exactly as I had requested in advance, great service) and a very comfortable bed. The icing on the cake were the amazing views over Coal Harbour from our floor-to-ceiling and really well soundproofed windows. Comfortable bed, although the first night the a/c was really loud but it was temperate enough not to need it the second night. Lovely products in the bathroom and liked the tassimo style coffee machine a lot.
In terms of location, it was an easy walk to the waterfront and to the underground – not too far into Gastown either, and also successfully caught the bus to the Botanical Gardens. There wasn’t masses of restaurant choice in the vicinity of the hotel; the first night we ate at the hotel restaurant which was really tasty with great service and cocktails, breakfasted at the Urban Spoon across the road – and got take away pizza one night whilst we watched the hockey!
Located in downtown Vancouver’s Coal Harbour District near Canada Place, Convention Centre and Cruise Ship Terminal. The hotel features a restaurant and bar and an outdoor swimming pool
Stayed at the Park Inn for 2 nights in Feb and the stay was ok but not amazing. The room was clean, beds comfortable, not cheap on coffee ,9.00 cab ride to Rogers Arena ,and at least you do not have drunks, beggars bugging for money..would stay again..also near to Vancouver General Hospital ,but do not eat in restaurant not good i hop or Dennys down the road
I stayed at the Pan Pacific for an event at the convention center next door. From arrival to departure, the staff were pleasant and helpful. Wifi coverage is good throughout the property. My room was great, very comfortable, excellent views over the bay and the floatplane harbour, looking towards Stanley Park in the distance. Bathroom very good too.
My only comment is that breakfast seemed somewhat pricey for what it was – when I stayed there was no buffet option, only a la carte so after the first day we went outside.
That said, it’s a high class property and you expect higher prices for that reason.
Of all the hotels we have had the pleasure of staying at, none have left us as satisfied as Opus. From the amazing location, cleanliness of the rooms, high end finishings and uniqueness of decor/design— but most impressive was the staff and level of service we received consistently over our 4 night stay.
From the time we contacted them to book a block of rooms for our wedding, to the last guest checking out, they were available and eager to assist. We actually commented that our dogs received better service than we often receive when staying at some of the bigger hotels. It is rare to see so many individuals take pride in what they do- kudos to the management at Opus for a job well done with hiring and the utmost respect to the staff for going above and beyond!
Opus is in our backyard, but after our fabulous stay, we will definitely be returning!!!
I stayed at L’Hermitage for 2 nights on business, in a King room, departing from my usual hotel, and did not regret it for a second.
– 5 star service
– Spacious well-appointed rooms
– Spacious washroom with separate soaker bath and stand-up shower
– Gorgeous rooftop saltwater lap pool and hot tub
– Decent sized 24-hr fitness room with new equipment
– Nice steamroom
– Very nice, huge business lounge with high ceilings
– Convenient location close to Vancouver financial/business district, close walk to Rogers Arena, Pacific Centre mall, shopping on Robson street, restaurants in Gastown
– Bed was too hard for my liking, but a matter of personal preference
Overall this is an excellent hotel, and I would stay there again, even on my own dime.

my sisters stayed here over the weekend and of course I went visiting, my sisters are young and picked a place within their price range and they loved this place, it wasn’t a dive, it was clean, decently priced, layout of the rooms was cool, there was 2 beds. a living area with t.v and couch and chair, 2 TV’s a stove, a fridge, all for less than $100, so very well worth it. Bathroom was a lot like many other hotel bathrooms but nice! could use more towels though 😉

This hotel is located in a nice section of downtown. I was able to check into a clean room with a really large king bed. The hotel was beautiful. I did not eat at the hotel. I chose to eat out. My usual selling point with a hotel is the fitness center and how comfortable is the bed. They get an A+++. The hotel is affiliated with the neighborhood gym, and the bed was amazing. I slept like a baby.

The hotel met and exceeded expectations … check in went smooth , friendly staff who hilited things to do , places to go on a map … we had adjoining rooms to accommodate a family visit.
Rooms are “huge” and recently redone/upgraded with a full fridge , electric stove top if you wanted to cook something up in your room… location is pretty central for sight seeing within the city centre … lots of places to eat nearby on Davie and Granville Streets … a nice complimentary breakfast is included … try to go early to avoid the last 15 min rush 🙂 Will certainly stay at this location again when in Vancouver
