We stayed here twice whilst visiting Vancouver. One time at each end of a Canadian visit. The hotel is well situated near Yaletown and Gastown. You can walk to most places (if you are that way inclined – which we were). Public transport can be used for further trips. The suite was large with a nice large window. We were on the 5th and the 13th floors. Great view from 13th. Ask for a high floor. Everything clean and working. Well serviced. There’s a cooker if you really want to save on costs. Staff very helpful. Can’t really fault. Great for it’s classification. There are laundries on various floors with washers and dryers.
Central location, near big stadium for sports , theatres and shopping.
Rooms are comfortable.
Good sauna, spa and indoor pool about 12 -5 metres long. closes between 11 and 1 for cleaning each day and shuts promptly at 10 p.m.
Bistro attached to the hotel about 20 floors high.
Great high tea place across the road for women in a historical building called Fur Elise.
stayed here for 5nights pre cruise and 1night post cruise.staff all very pleasant and helpful.was on both floor17 and 5 found no problem with either.check was painless on the two visits.hotel is very handy for all shopping and a host of restaurants nearby.sports bar on ground floor is a bit pricey.but overall would recommend this hotel which is within 5 minutes of both hockey arena and football stadium.
Rosedale on Robson Vancouver

It is downtown so most places are close by. It is also close to the ratty part of downtown with shuttered stores and junkies sleeping in the street. Nightclubs causing noise till 3 am could be heard in spite of being put on the 3rd floor, however this did not affect my sleep as it was muffled. If you are sensitive this may cause you problems. Rooms are on the smaller side probably due to it being older. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
We booked the room for a single night and was completely thrown off that you need to go to the alley in order to get to their parking. Once inside, the front desk staff wasn’t friendly and was almost offended that there were people checking in. Wasn’t aware you need to pay for a valet parking.
Once we were checked in and found our room, the room looks really dirty. The room didn’t look like the photos; carpet was dirty, and the room had a disgusting smell. For the amount of money we paid for, over three hundred sixty American dollars, we expected to be more upper class. However, we were completely thrown off by it.
The place is loud at night, due to the club directly next to it. The music was so loud you can feel the bass rambling on the windows and walls. It lasted til 3 am and we couldn’t get any sleep.
We choose to pay with continental breakfast, and were given the breakfast voucher to use. We went into the restaurant next door and were completely in surprise. The waitress wasn’t friendly, and we didn’t know the voucher wasn’t part of the breakfast bar. She was rude and told us to go. We went back to the front desk and the dudes behind the reception desk didn’t know what was going on. My wife was so mad, we didn’t get any breakfast for my three children.
Outside of the hotel, there are homeless people around and the location isn’t safe. If we had known this beforehand, we wouldn’t even choose that hotel. Learned firsthand, and totally regret staying there. Made our trip to Vancouver a bad experience.
Just a warning to anyone else that is thinking of staying here, please look else where. You’ll regret just like we did and would never stay in another Ramada again.
very warm welcome by Mr Leung (hope I didn’t make a mistake) and his attentiveness and kindness at Front Desk. this hotel is centrally located in downtown and service was superb.
good selection of the complimentary breakfast and cheerful staff there.
We stayed here a couple of days after a cruise.
The customer service was great and they went out of their way to accommodate any requests.
Breakfast was wonderful too
My only complaint – there was often a lack of front deck staff and lines got very long. Despite this, the staff remained happy and helpful
Hotel staff was great and rooms were clean
I do love a Marriott Property. Included breakfast which had eggs and many offerings . Staff was very knowledgeable about the city and all the tour offerings as well
Service was great. Employees were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable
From the first interaction with the helpful and professional staff, this hotel provides comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. The hotel is walking distance to many of Vancouver’s downtown attractions, and close to some great restaurants.
Great value for money, very clean, friendly service, reasonable facilities and great location. If looking for a reasonably priced hotel in down town Vancouver, this is it!
This is our third time here and it is not a accident that we returned. I would rate the room this time higher except that it was on the small side. There are some rooms here that are a bit bigger. It was however, clean, comfortable and very quiet, which was more important . The security at this hotel is very good. Breakfast is decent and staff is always helpful and friendly. Hotel is close to everything. 15 – 20 minute walk to Rogers arena/bc place.
There are 2 Ramadas in downtown Vancouver this one being at 435 Pender Street near the cruise ship terminal and the other Ramada on Granville Street in the entertainment district. Guests are offered a complimentary hot continental breakfast, and free WIFI!

I chose this hotel when my family was coming to Vancouver for the first time. I really liked the location of waterfront (much quieter than main roads), and there are many restaurants and a convenience store near the hotel which was good. The room was clean and comfortable, and food in the restaurant in the first floor was good too! We really enjoyed our stay with good service!
Nice Hotel nice location. Staff is very friendly pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Only negative was the food from the hotel restaurant was pretty pricy. Over $20 for breakfast per person not including from.
We stayed twice and had 3 nights in total. So close to many amenities and the Bellstaff are really helpful and informative. They even supply one way taxis to most locations free of charge.
Rooms were fabulous and spacious.
Will stay again on our next visit.
Staff were prompt, wifi was good. Close to sky train and supermarket and cafes. Dated room, could use an upgrade. Adequate for our purposes, would overlook for a special stay. In room safe would be useful for guests
Nice hotel. Good access. Some minor maintenance is needed, and then we would assign a higher rating. Hotel room doors all slam shut upon closing, and simple annual maintenance on the hinges would fix this issue.
The location is perfect very close to everything, a bus stop right at the door and a few meter from the train, rooms a little small but good enough for what you need it. Could be cheaper for what you get on the rooms but as I said is good enough. could be nice if they provide free parking for guest instead of charging 15 cad.
Located on West Broadway adjacent to Vancouver General Hospital, within walking distance of Granville Island and just 4 blocks away from the Broadway City Hall SkyTrain station providing a direct link to the Vancouver Airport. All rooms have a private balcony, fridge, micro and a coffeemaker. Complimentary high-speed wireless.
I can’t say enough good things about the Westin Grand. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable…the bed, the pillows…wow! Our sleeps were excellent. The bathrooms are large in size and are equipped with the basics which is nice to not have to pack a hair dryer or shampoo. The maid service was incredibly fast. We would head out for a meal and come back 90 minutes later and our room was made up again. Very impressed. The elevators are slow, I do agree with that but all in all this is the place we will continually choose whenever we are in Vancouver. Great location for downtown activities. We had the best time here. A $25-30 cab ride back to the airport is all it cost us and we felt that was reasonable. We highly recommend the Westin Grand!
Hotel is very nice. Staff are always friendly and prepared. Rooms are an odd shape, but well appointed and clean. This building has the slowest elevators I’ve ever come across. Expect they will take 5 minutes to arrive to any floor above 10
I have always loved the location of this hotel, its so close to everything downtown. However there are a few things that I would like to say about our last stay. We arrived later in the evening and our duvet cover was dirty I didn’t realize it until the next morning, the pillows were awful they were a regular size pillow that seemed to be way over used and they had extra large pillow cases on them. Lastly I notice a mouse running around outside by the pool one evening which isn’t a huge deal(better out than in) I will always recommend this hotel as it is one of my favourites it definitely has more good things about it then bad.
Was really pleased with the Pan Pacific. Stayed the.l night before our ship sailed. Had a concierge level room. Fantastic views. Quick walk to the cruise terminal – literally down the stairs. The hotel transferred our bags. Great service
Very nice !! Great location service the lounge on the 25 th floor nice for a quick breakfast and afternoon snack. We enjoyed the facility with dinning, and location to all the actives in and though Vancouver.
We stayed here overnight & we LOVED this hotel!! The staff was extremely friendly & helpful; the adjoining rooms were clean, nicely appointed & had promised port/harbor views! We even got upgraded to a suite which was to die for & had tons of room!! It was perfect for our morning departure on the Disney Alaskan Cruise. We simply took the elevator down a flight & found ourself in the port area to check in. VERY convenient!!! Also, there is a complimentary city shuttle outside that takes you to the Capilano Suspension Bridge!! A very cool stop!! About a 20 min ride through the city – really cool to see it! Plan on 2 hrs to do the Suspension Bridge….from there, you can hop on the city bus stop outside the Suspension Bridge park & ride 15 min up the hill to Grouse Mountain. From there, you’ll need to take a taxi back to hotel, unless you catch the last bus pick up at 7:30 pm!
Front door staff excellent and extremely helpful! Front desk staff excellent housekeeping excellent rooms spotless
Beds were very comfortable and clean. Great view of the city. Loved having the IMAX theatre in the same building. Went to the fly over Canada which was awesome.
Really enjoyed sitting in the bar and watching the sea planes take off! Rooms are spacious and unusually shaped making them more interesting than normal
We found the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The ocean views from our room were spectacular. We enjoyed the gym, hot tub and had a wonderful dinner at Five Sails. This was an amazing getaway!
As I used to live in Yaletown, I would always walk by the hotel and always wondered what it was like staying in one of their rooms. Now that I no longer live in Vancouver, I had the opportunity to stay and man was I happy I stayed here.
First off, the hotel lobby is very chic and the staff are really friendly. When we checked in, we were given a complimentary sparkling rose. The times where we needed to get somewhere quickly downtown, the car service was a nice touch and really helped to get somewhere in a hurry (we made sure to tip really well).
Now the room, super chic and modern. It was very clean and I definitely made myself feel like I was at home and more so. The bed was comfortable compared to the other hotel we had stayed at the night before.
The hotel bar is small but again very chic and modern. Bartender was a bit of a mess and she was a bit unprofessional, sitting down at the bar when she wasn’t doing anything, but I can look past that because the cocktail was good.
Would definitely stay here again!
Great location in the heart of Yaletown. Hotel staff was very friendly & helpful. Rooms were beautiful. Bright pops of colors, fireplace, heated bathroom floors… Tons of great options for food within walking distance. Beautiful places to stroll, run or take a bike ride. Provided the right mix of work & play while in town for business.
Opus Hotel Vancouver redefines the boutique experience. Located in Yaletown Vancouver’s newest trendy Neighbourhood steps from Shops, Cafes, Bars and Restaurants. Canada Line, BC Place and Rogers Arena are a stones throw away
This is one of those hotels that you know you will stay at again if you come back to that town.
A little boutique hotel on a plot that gives just 15 rooms per floor and around 150 overall. Genuine, personal luxury where there are some much bigger ones round the corner.
It is very well situated. Bus and train links in the Pacific Centre over the road. Four blocks downhill and you are at Canada Place and the waterfront, Round the back, 5 mins you are in the designer name shopping area. 15 mins to Gastown and Chinatown. Almost anything you want is just a short distance away.
Bedroom really nice, little balcony, very comfortable bed, a lot of marble in the bathroom and all the facilities you want including a machine that makes capsule style coffee. Not a sound anytime to keep us awake.
Nice little restaurant attached for any meals you want in and lots around if you want to eat out.
The staff were great and attentive service from everyone. I mention the doorman on arrival that helped us not get a ticket outside the hotel before we turned in our rental car next block over.
I pick out Rob, the concierge, for excellent service that added to our holiday enjoyment. Endless patience and fount of knowledge. Contacts to help you get the right table in that restaurant.
Quality and personal service from one end to the other.
We Stayed 1 night at the metropolitan after a cruise prior to flying home,
