Comfortable, quiet, clean and a five minute walk from Vancouver General Hospital. Staff is friendly and accommodating in both the hotel and restaurant, and the food is very good. The Sky train is within short walking distance, and taxis and buses are readily available right outside the entrance door.
Very nice clean and convenient hotel in good area. Around hotel there are lot of restaurants, coffee shops. Not too far from subway station. Not too far from downtown. Stuff is very polite and helpful. Definitely will return again in this hotel on my next visit and recommencement to everyone who need to stay in Vancouver.
I found this hotel incredibly convenient for my an appointment I had at VGH. VGH is literally around the corner. I walked to the hotel from the Skytrain and there were some nice restaurants in the area.
This was my third trip to Vancouver in less than a year for medical reasons. I stayed at the Park Inn and Suites every time, first because of its’ proximity to VGH and the following trips because I was very pleased with the hotel. The staff were helpful and the restaurant serves good food, reasonably priced, with prompt service. The Skytrain terminal is also very close, making arrival from the airport efficient and economical. Will return to the Park Inn and Suites if further medical treatment becomes necessary.
Located on West Broadway adjacent to Vancouver General Hospital, within walking distance of Granville Island and just 4 blocks away from the Broadway City Hall SkyTrain station providing a direct link to the Vancouver Airport. All rooms have a private balcony, fridge, micro and a coffeemaker. Complimentary high-speed wireless.
I loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. Heaven!! The warm birthday wishes, hand made card and treats were a lovely surprise. Thank you for the added thoughtfulness. I look forward to returning after the renovations are complete to see the new look.
We had a very nice one week stay despite the major renovations ongoing. The main entrance and the lobby was closed. We got a king suite which was very spacious. It has a separate living room. All very comfortable and very well designed. The high floor room also gave us nice views from both the bedroom and living room windows. The location is also good. It’s right in the downtown area with easy walk to many shops and restaurants. The staff were all very professional and pleasant. Highly recommended.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Awesome location, and we walked everywhere.
Even in the renovation the staff was over accommodating. Very friendly and welcoming. Our new rooms were very well done. We will be back.
We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Westin Grand and were treated to an upgraded room and a small bottle of wine to share and a couple of sweets. thank you Westin that was a nice surprise.
Our room had an amazing view overlooking BC Place and the sunrise over Mt Baker and the mountains was so beautiful.
Heavenly beds are always a treat. Our room was recently upgraded which was very nice and our only complaint was the sofa (which is a sofa bed) wasn’t very comfortable as the cushions seem to make you feel like you’re falling off the sofa as it is higher at the back than the front.
The hotel is undergoing reno’s and they are doing the best they can at accommodating check in which was not an issue at all.
We loved our stay at the Pan Pacific…comfy bed, clean rooms and hallways, staff was just great…welcoming and warm. In my opinion, you would not go wrong staying here! We did not have a a meal but have eaten at 5 Sails before and really enjoyed it!
Best spot in Vancouver to stay and attend a business retreat event. I did not expect to feel a sense of relaxation during our 2 day business retreat. The location right on the water and 180 view from the Coal Harbour room provided a true sense of calm and being away from it all. We did not have to travel out of town to get an out of the office retreat experience
Great location downtown. You can walk to all the attractions. Wonderful view of downtown as well as the harbour and Lions Gate Bridge from our room. Very comfortable beds although the pillows deflated and could have been better. Only thing that concerned us was the elevator was not secured. Considering it is above the convention centre anyone can be going around the hotels floors. For a top hotel this surprised us. Parking is very pricey ($42 for 24 hrs) so be prepared.
Pan Pacific and Spa Utopia’s “Rest, Recharge and Reconnect” package for two was a wonderful option for a staycation. It offers you all the benefits of a short trip away with lots of perks. The food is also amazing.
Very comfortable and spacious room which included a lounge and kitchenette. TV’s in both lounge and bedroom was great. There was an iPad in the room but as we had our own we did not make use of it, although I imagine that guests would see this as added value. Hotel was well located close to the waterfront and within easy walking distance from the city centre. Staff were courteous and helpful. We used the coffee shop regularly and also dined at La Pentola. We were given access to the fitness centre after checkout so that we could freshen up before tackling the long haul (15hrs) home and this was very welcome.
Stayed here for the Vancover dine out. The staff were genuinely friendly welcoming and very helpful. There were some nice touches such as an offer of a glass of wine as we checked ; a little something extra for my wife’s birthday ; and a good continental breakfast included. . The deluxe king room was large , very clean and sumptuous. Also the meal in the restaurant was excellent.
I seriously love this hotel. Arrived tonight to a bottle of wine and treats as a customer appreciation. Last time they randomly upgraded me so I wouldn’t be bothered by street noise on a Friday night. Staff are great, rooms are uber cool and prime location across from skytrain. This is THE place to stay in Van.
Opus Hotel Vancouver redefines the boutique experience. Located in Yaletown Vancouver’s newest trendy Neighbourhood steps from Shops, Cafes, Bars and Restaurants. Canada Line, BC Place and Rogers Arena are a stones throw away
We liked that you could use the pool and hot tub until 11pm I love the size of the suite and the bed was comfy I liked the balcony on both sides of the suite The music system that u could hear in every room
Large room with sitting area. Clean. Across from the Pacific Center Mall, 1/2 block from the Vancouver City Center stop of the Canada line.
Extremely well run hotel. All staff were free with advice as to what to do and where to eat and just char. Bathroom had separate shower stall. Very modern look and feels but in a comfortable way.
a Vancouver luxury hotel with a convenient downtown location offering superior guest services, facilities and amenities. With a complimentary fitness centre
Heated indoor swimming pool, steam room, and squash court.
Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver
645 Howe Street, Vancouver,
British Columbia, CANADA V6C 2Y9
Good location for downtown Vancouver
About 15 mins walk to the subway station and 5 mins walk to the bus stations
Lots of good places to eat within 5 minutes walk
Hotel is well renovated and looks modern, but is clearly in a very old building
The lift is really old and small, and very slow
The bathroom was freezing and the tiles suck the heat out. We did visit in winter though. Room is warm enough with the heater going.
Not too bad for the price.
The convenient and inexpensive parking is this hotel’s best quality. The room rates are inexpensive but probably not a good value. The location is good if you are there for an nearby entertainment venue and plan to get wasted and walk the streets howling all night like your fellow revelers. Otherwise, budget hotels in other neighborhoods would be a better choice. During the day, the area is populated by business people, service workers, street people and a few tourists. At night, the street people and tourists mix with people seeking city nightlife attracted by a low-end and a few high-end cocktail lounges and bars. A liquor store in the building is both convenient for guests, and due to being a rarity in the city, an attractant anyone who wants to get drunk and hang out on the nearby streets. Strangely, the property has a first class cocktail lounge, Uva, attached. The vibe and artfully prepared drinks are as good as it gets. Downside, four drinks can cost as much as the the room rate. If you want to enjoy a splurge at Uva, best to stay somewhere else.
Booked this for a one night stay while attending a show at a nearby venue.
The location and value of this hotel if great. The room is average. It was clean and had all that was needed for a single night stay. The room is small but again is good if you are just using it to sleep. The staff was pretty friendly.
Few other rooms offer the views of a corner suite at this hotel. Got spectacular views of both rising and setting full moons on first night. Closest hotel to Stanley Park. GREAT value!
The manager was very nice with us upon our arrival and the place is very clean and cannot complain about the breakfast !! A la prochain Lord Stanley !
David Andersen who handled our reservation was courteous, and very professional. Friendly but not invasive. He spent time to direct us to places we were looking for. Off to a great start. We checked out at noon time a few days later, and David was very helpful in letting us use the facilities late afternoon as our flight was later that night. Finishing off our stay with nothing but praise for the exceptional service. The suite was clean and very well equipped. Will definitely recommend this place.
The bed was like a cloud. The view of the Vancouver yacht club and, on a sunny day, the mountains, was an unexpected delight, Front desk staff were consistently helpful and excellent overall. front door security was also excellent, I felt safe staying alone. The location, a short walk to Stanley Park sea wall, was perfect for me, it was a short and easy bus ride to the art gallery and other downtown attractions, I would stay here again.
Close to cruise port – Can walk to it (10 minutes). Breakfast buffet better than average. Worth getting as part of package but maybe not as a separate item
This was our 2nd stay here. Even though we arrived early in the day we were able to check in and get our room. The reception desk was very friendly and professional. It was a chilly grey day, so after a quick trip to a hair salon our party met in the hotel bar/restaurant area. One of the bartenders remembered us from our being there 2 years ago! (Think maybe we stayed too long in the bar?? Nah.) Happy hour is every day from 3p-6p, Every day! Bar food was great. Good buzz in the place – it’s set up to be very comfortable to roost for a while. The rooms are gorgeous. Ask for a harbor view. We had access to the concierge lounge, which was beautiful. A very nice and tasty spread is put out in the evening; I can’t remember if this is an option every night, though. I rate this one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. Walking distance to Canada Place and for us, Stanley Park, but we’re walkers so keep that in mind, if you have limitations.
The corner rooms have a wonderful view of the harbor and mountains. The workout room is well equipped. The pool has a dry and steam sauna. The staff was helpful and the hotel is very quite. The internet had good speed at normal level.
The staff was first class. They made us feel at home on from the beginning to the end. We were in and out of these hotel multiple times a day, over an 8 day period, and they were very helpful no matter the request.
Beds were so comfy and we had an exceptional dinner at Forage – restaurant right downstairs. Brunch was also very good. The staff was accommodating and helpful. We loved having valet parking too, very handy.
Special treatment at all times by staff. Lovely hotel! Right on Robson Street. Great shopping and restaurants and dancing within walking. Very clean and nice wine reception in lobby, too.
Hotel is well located, nicely appointed and was very quiet. There are some very good casual restaurants in the immediate area and its a short walk to waterfront. Enjoyed my stay.
Loved the comfy bed! Loved the pot of hot coffee in the morning and the friendly man who delivered it. Loved the location! Also really appreciated the great selection of art magazines in my room.
The Listel Hotel is a first class Boutique Hotel located on Robson Street. Each guest room showcases contemporary Northwest Coast Art through a partnership with the prestigious University of British Columbia’s Museum of Anthropology. … Amenities
Best hotel in the neighbourhood, ideal for exploring the area. Fantastic rooms, with everything you could wish for.
beautiful hotel and excellent staff. Especially liked the red carpet and afternoon tea that was happening as we arrived to celebrate the visit of HRH William and Kate
The entire staff was exceptional. Service beyond five star! Exceptionally immaculate. Every detail from the down pillows, luxurious sheets, room service and turn down in the evening was way beyond expectations. The concierge service was very helpful and professional . Bravo Loden Vancouver!
This hotel went above and beyond our expectations! Amazing room, fabulous service, kind staff all around that was extremely helpful!!! The room is super large for a big city, bathroom super convenient and modern! All the little touches were thought of, cleaning and turn down service on point! Even the valet was so nice he made us enjoy the hotel even more! We enjoyed our three nights stay so much we didn’t want to leave! The restaurant and bar is awesome!!! I’ve stayed in tons of great hotels but this one was nothing short of perfect!!!! Tableau Bistro!!! On both visits (and yes we visited twice on our 3 days stay in Vancouver) we sat at the bar and enjoyed lively conversation with both bartenders. The cocktails were on point and so were all the recommendations they made!! Delicious food and nice service, nothing more we could have asked for!
Truly a boutique hotel experience with outstanding service and a glamorous setting. I cannot emphasise enough how warm and helpful the staff is. It’s also great that you can rent bikes at no charge from the hotel. The tub is a spa unto itself!
