ack ear plugs especially if you have a room facing out to the street. Very loud at night especially if you stay on a Saturday night the way we did. We had friends staying at the Marriott next door who had a similar room but their glass must be that much thicker because they had no problem. I managed to forget a tooth brush and figured the hotel could provide since it seems pretty standard and was told “no we don’t have anything like that you’ll have to buy at the 7-11 across the street.” $5.99 later (granted it was Canadian so less for me in US dollars but still) for a toothbrush got in the elevator noticed someone holding a toothbrush and toothpaste who told me “I got it from the lobby staff.” What gives? I know I asked nicely so I’m thinking he didn’t even know they provide such things? Then onto breakfast no meat items at all and very tight fit. The hotel staff washed dishes at the sink where all the food was displayed. Also no meat although our friends at the Marriott had a breakfast that included meat eggs and more. We were lucky the waffle maker at least worked. When checking in we wanted to make sure our key cards would still work for the pool, elevator and parking garage and was assured by we-don’t-provide-toothbrushes guy that he had programmed our cards to be able to do that after we checked out but nope the morning staff had to so something different. Glad I asked but really how hard is it to get the basics straight?
