St Regis Hotel Vancouver

St. Regis is a very good, efficiently managed business suite-style property, but it is not, as the pictures and sometimes the pricing would suggest, a luxury retreat in the city. The hotel offer reasonably sized suites with living and bed room, two TV’s and spacious bathrooms. The decor is neutral, the rooms clean and well maintained, but mine smelled funny of antiseptic agents. Room on the second floor had only limited natural light, and due to the busy intersection, some exposure to street noise.

The restaurant/bar is more like a pub and not particulary inviting, but continental breakfast is decent.but the

Hotel staff was super-friendly and helpful. In an expensive city like Vancouver it still offers quite decent value for your money.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at St Regis. You made us feel very welcomed and looked after. We loved our stay in this fabulous hotel. Our room was spacious, spotless, quiet and comfortable. Our only criticism is the lack of choice for breakfast.
We loved the Saint Regis in Vancouver. We just came from an Alaska cruise and found the bed to be the most comfortable in two weeks. The room was a little small however the bathroom was very large and accommodating. The king size bed was comfortable the pillows were fantastic and the room was very very clean. The bar attached to the hotel was great with good food. You can walk to the Pacific Mall and the very trendy Water Street area. There you will find plenty of small cafes,
restaurant ‘s and bars. There’s a Starbucks and Gotham steakhouse attached to the hotel. You won’t be disappointed if you have to spend a night or more at the St. Regis.

Just spent one night there. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean. The chocolate, bottled water and nice robes were a nice treat. Great location. The included breakfast was fantastic. Not your typical included hotel breakfast (simple continental). Wife had bacon egg breakfast and I had the omelette breakfast all with hashbrowns toast juice coffee tea. Great breakfast! Parking is a bit pricey but we parked a block away for much cheaper overnight parking. Will definitely stay here again. Well done and keep it up

Service was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and even the hallways etc are well-appointed and maintained. There are free phone calls, even internationally! Free internet, too. The hotel is centrally located, close to subway stations, very near to bus routes and, for touristers like us, close to a stop for the hop-on, hop-off tourist bus. There is a pub-style restaurant which has a reasonable enough menu, although the TVs endlessly showing sport (no volume) detract a bit. Breakfast is generous with cooked or continental included in the room rate. We’d go back again.

I recently spent five nights during a business trip in Vancouver. This is an older hotel, but it has been kept in great shape and is close to all the amenities of downtown Vancouver. The room I stayed in was a typical hotel room, however it had a great bed, was clean and well kept. The bathroom was a good size, spotless and a good selection of shampoo, conditioners, etc. Staff always made sure to leave a good quantity.
The hotel has only one small elevator so you can be left waiting at busy times. This was not a problem and the stairs are always available.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating. You could count on them to open doors for you or rush to call the elevator. The staff always acknowledged the guests with a good morning or good evening and asked how the stay was going. Newspapers and apples were available for guests in the lobby.
A great feature of the hotel is the cooked to order breakfast available to guests on the lower lobby at no additional cost. The staff in this area were amazing with very quick service for coffee and juice and very accommodating in their guests selecting from a wide range of items on the menu. The food order was typically out in about 5 – 10 minutes.
The St. Regis is right next to the Expo line subway station and just a block up Granville Street from the Canada Line making it very convenient to take the train from the airport to downtown.
I certainly recommend the St. Regis and plan to make it my hotel of choice in downtown Vancouver.

Just returned from a skiing holiday in Whistler and spent 2 days exploring Vancouver staying at the St Regis. Travelled down by bus and found the hotel location to be ideally sited for our planned ‘touristy’ expeditions! The staff were very accommodating, friendly and attentive. The room was far better than we were expecting and very modern with a great flat screen TVs. A great service provided was that all phone calls (including international) were free so we called home to chat to the family for no charge. The restaurant attached to the hotel is one of the best around although not used by us and we opted to use the gastro bar. Again the staff were terrific and the food was exceptional. A great place to stay if you are looking for a reasonably priced, quality hotel in central Vancouver which includes a fantastic full breakfast!

We spent the night after getting into Vancouver around 11pm. Easy drive from the airport and the breakfast in the morning, which was included in our rate, was delicious. The only downside was there is not a dedicated space for the hotel in front of the lobby, so while i was getting the parking pass, lots of drivers were honking and yelling at us. Next time we know to park around the corner and walk into the lobby!

Stayed in room 503 at the end of the hall. Top floor for them. Enjoyed being able to take the stairs every time I came and went. Was surprised at how much street level noise you could still hear, but it didn’t affect my sleep at all. Got lots of good recommendations from the staff at the front desk when needed for places to eat as well as bike rentals. The complimentary breakfast is incredible! There were 3 options on a menu with table service in the lower level dining area. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, staff friendly. Only thing I would have preferred that they don’t offer is a small fridge and microwave, however, with so many great paces to eat downtown it was no real issue. The hotel is right beside Granville train station, and only about 2 blocks from the Van City Centre station so easy to take the SkyTrain just about right there from the airport. Got a free pass to use the large gym next door which was also a good experience. WiFi as usual was free as well.

Attached to one of the best steakhouses in Vancouver and a great pub (happy hour!), I was very delighted to stay at the St. Regis. The rooms are classical-chic, l’Occitane products, and the client service is second-to-none. I didn’t make it to breakfast, but great touch having that included.

This review is quite late, but my opinion of our experience at this boutique hotel hasn’t diminished. It is definitely in my top 5 of accommodations I have enjoyed.

The location is excellent. Take the Canada line from the airport and it is a short walk from city center. At the time of our visit there was construction and we got off at the Dunsmuir stop. It was a short walk and we were there before we knew it.

Front desk was extremely welcoming. They explained details of our stay straight away such as where breakfast was served and what time, and graciously answered any questions we had. Top notch staff in all areas of this hotel.

The room was lovely. Spacious, with the bedroom set apart from the living room area. Bathroom was better than most, in my opinion. The bedroom had complimentary Fiji water bottles on both sides of the bed on the night stands, and they were replenished each day of our stay.

Breakfast had a wide variety of offerings, certainly more options than most “breakfast included” stays. I am vegetarian, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me and offer me extra of anything I would like. This was greatly appreciated. Both the breakfast room and staff are upscale and I was quite impressed.

At checkout a cab was called for us without hesitation, and the bellman saw our bags to the car. It’s little touches like this that make a lasting impression.

Thank you St. Regis for a wonderful stay!

What a find. Boutique hotel boasting free local AND international (inc to U.K. Mobiles) calls, full breakfast included. Comfy, friendly, clean and well kept. Apparently used to be a dive, well no more. My wife and I stayed for three nights and we’d definitely return. Honestly can’t fault the place.

The St. Regis Hotel is a quaint hotel reminiscent of an European boutique hotels. The location in the Financial District is wonderful and just a couple of blocks from the Vancouver waterfront. Make sure you have a GPS, as it it a little difficult to find without. Finding parking was a little difficult, but after making the block a couple of times, we finally stopped and ran into the lobby. They were very helpful in showing us how to pull into the parking garage. The room was comfortable with complimentary Fiji bottled water, international phone calls, and wifi. The front desk was helpful with restaurant recommendations. Do not miss a hearty complimentary breakfast cooked to order. Will stay at the St. Regis again.

My go-to hotel for Vancouver business trips. Centrally located, great rooms, free breakfast, access to gym around the corner, access to downstairs lounge for business gatherings, excellent and friendly staff.

The hotel has a nice boutique feel to it and the staff are very friendly. Although the parking is a little different than most hotels, it certainly does not deserve the terrible reviews. We will definitely be coming back here in the future.

My family and I stayed and the St Regis at loved it.
The room are lovey, the beds are super comfortable and the decor is inviting.
We stayed four nights and the staff were great.
We booked a private meet and greet transfer from the airport to the hotel and this process was seamless and highly recommended.
On the front desk staff we fantastic. We were helped by Juan every day to book tours and for local directions. He even helped us with a transfer to Whistler for the day. He was great!
The breakfast that is included in our rate was well above any expectations we had. Three types of breakfasts – we had the traditional bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast, coffee and Juice – delicious. The gentleman who served us for breakfast each day was so lovely and was a delight to see each day.
The locations is exceptional. It backs onto Hudson Bay department store , is one block from the Pacific Centre Shopping Centre, is an easy 5-6 block walk to Rogers Stadium and Costco. Is a shirt downhill walk to Canada Place and Gastown.
We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Our stay at the St Regis was excellent. Rooms were comfortable, nice assortment of high quality soaps and lotions, complimentary water, and very good mattress. the heated bathroom floor was a nice feature given the outside temperature was dropping. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping were fantastic!! Complimentary sit down breakfast service was also a nice offering.
Hate to share this this as it is a great secret in the city but the operators of this hotel deserve the compliments. Will definitely stay again!

Stayed 3 nights for a business meeting at Vancouver office.
centrally located downtown Vancouver, where you can find almost everything from shopping to coffee shops, to restaurants and business centers too.
very well maintained room, with big comfortable bed to rest after a long day of work.
one of the best place to stay in vancouver.
highly recommended.

We have stayed at the St. Regis several times over the last 10 years and have always been impressed. Courteous, attentive staff greet you from the desk; advice and smiles are freely given and the place is spotless. I would recommend this hotel to my mother-and that is the highest rating I ever give.

Stayed for 5 nights at the St Regis in a Junior suite which was very well appointed. Loved the marble bathroom with the heated floor. Having the coffee maker and refrigerator was a great asset. The staff were so helpful and friendly and reception staff helped us with our holiday needs. The free breakfast was a great start to the day and staff here were helpful too. Had a couple of meals in the adjacent bar which was really handy and good wholesome food. The hotel is located near to Canada place and Gastown so ideal. Would definitely stay here again.

The history of St. Regis dates back more than 100 years, when a local real estate tycoon decided to build a premier hotel for his wife. After its 1913 establishment, there was a period of prosperity, but the great depression brought the hotel into disrepair. It wasn’t until a recent $10m renovation that the St. Regis reclaimed its position as a top hotel for tourists and business people alike.

These days, the St Regis still retains its Art Deco charm, but without compromising on comfort. The rooms are smart, spacious and modern. Even better, Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfasts are included in the room’s price.

Conveniently located in downtown Vancouver, it’s easy to reach the city’s central attractions and both bus and train stations.

Fourth year in a row that we stayed at the St. Regis pre-cruise, love this place. The staff are awesome, rooms are great and the free full breakfast and the late checkout are such a bonus. Thanks again St. Regis.

We stayed at St. Regis after a cruise from Alaska for one night. The room was very comfortable and felt very new/updated. The staff was very helpful to us with attractions to go see while we were in Vancouver. Our made-to-order breakfast was included in our room rate and was fresh and tasty. We would definitely stay here again if travelling to Vancouver!

Stayed recently for the first time and will definitely stay again. Rooms were great (heated floors are a nice addition), staff was extremely friendly on all levels and the breakfast was a great inclusion! I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in Vancouver and this is the best!
