If you are searching for the best hotel in Vancouver, you can end your search now. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable and service is excellent. It’s located in a central area of Vancouver and you can walk to most places like Yaletown etc. Make sure you visit their basement lounge for live jazz and great people watching. The hotel also has a rooftop bar that is one of the hottest places to hang out. But, try not tell too many people about this hotel, we want it to remain a Vancouver secret.

Stayed at the hotel at either end of our trip to Canada. Firstly, the staff are really great, the waiters and the bar staff were so helpful and full of ideas of where to go and what to do. Food in the restaurant was excellent.

The 2nd stay was so much nicer as we had a corner room and it was just so much nicer and brighter.

The rooftop bar was also lovely and the spa looked amazing but unfortunately we couldn’t get a booking.

We just ended our stay at the Georgia and we’re definatley sad to leave. Everything was lovely from the staff to the rooms to the personal touches. We arrived very early off a cruise so our room was not ready however they stored our luggage and were able to check us in 1 hour earlier. We had a Deluxe room which was stunning; plently of storage space, lounge, large TV, mini bar, nespresso machine, king bed, large marble bathroom, enormous shower, heated floors and more. There was a personalised letter on arrival and a welcome message on the TV. When we came back for the evening our room had been set up for bed with slippers out, bottles of water and even wine and raspberries on the table (which i mentioned were my favourite). The pool was lovely, a great size and perfect temperature. We didn’t utilise the gym however it looked well equipped and the spa had a decent service menu. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return

This hotel is just the best with their professional staff and emaculate rooms the service is just fantastic can’t wait to come back again,my mom had a wonderful surprise 80th birthday stay and would like to thank all who made her feel so welcome…

I stay here a few times a year for business and always leave feeling like I have been on vacation… The staff are friendly, attentive, and they seem to know exactly what I need before I do. The hotel is in a prime downtown location, close to great restaurants and shopping. The rooms are my favorite thing about this hotel – spacious, with extremely comfortable beds and very well appointed. I want for nothing when I stay here.
We stayed here in March for about 5 days. Excellent location and on par service. The staff was very warm and friendly. This hotel boasts great restaurant, cafe and ba which was very important for foodies like us.

We checked into the Rosewood early and our room was ready. The hotel is beautiful and the staff were very friendly.

The room was again beautiful, big comfy bed, lounge area, Nespresso machine and very large bathroom. Our room overlooked the city and here is construction work opposite but the noise was not a problem at all.

The outdoor winter bar was really cool and very cosy. And the fitness suite was a real treat. We had breakfast there too which was lovely.

A great base to explore Vancouver and I would definitely recommend and stay again. 5 stars.

Beautiful hotel with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. Impeccable housekeeping; however, avoid the front desk and concierge they will only cause problems with your travel plans all while acting as though they are better than you.

Arrived New Year’s Eve and could not have felt more welcome. We have visited Vancouver many times over the last 8 years and stayed in various centrally located hotels. The Rosewood Georgia is up there with the best and we will most definitely return. Executive room had an amazing bathroom with marble floor and freestanding central bath

This is simply one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The location in the centre of downtown Vancouver is perfect, the rooms are beautifully appointed, spacious and immaculate, the lobby is cozy, elegant and stylish and best of all the staff and service levels are outstanding. Everything was just flawless. There were also lots of lovely extra touches, such as the turn down service each night which included free biscuits and bottled water, the high quality and range of toiletries provided, the teddy bears and kid sized gowns and slippers provided for the children … and the list goes on. The hotel is not cheap, but is in the same price range as many very average and forgettable hotels I’ve stayed in before. It’s such a pleasure to stay in a hotel where management really seems to understand what their guests are looking for. I will definitely be back.

This was a working trip..have stayed here before….perfect location, beautiful hotel, warm welcoming staff…..gracious rooms..it rained sideways for 3 days so the hotel lobby bar was Perfect for drinks &dining….will be back….The Spa is second to none….
A stunning hotel with hands down the best service and attention to detail. I have two young children, and the staff went above and beyond our expectations to make them feel welcome, comfortable and spoiled! It made our stay that much more enjoyable

Wonderful service was the highlight of this trip. Relaxing, private, and so comfortable.
The location was outstanding, central to everything. We managed to run the sea wall on a glorious sunny Vancouver day. Spa and gym facilities are amongst the best in Vancouver. We will be back!

Very happy with our stay and it was enhanced with top quality service. Daphne from concierge was very helpful in booking transportation to whistler. Would definitely come back.
(P.s. LOVED the heated floors!!)
Traveling to Vancouver is always a pleasant experience with the friendliness of the people, good service and convenience of the city. At the Rosewood I felt our stay in Vancouver was elevated to the next level, making all our other Van hotel experiences (Loden, Sutton Place and Opus) seem basic in comparison.

The exterior belies the beauty of the inside. While a bit dimly lit; the artwork, high ceilings and historic architecture exudes a feeling of contemporary luxury. While it would seem that a hotel with this type of feel would have snobby staff, Service is friendly from the valet, bellboys and continues to the front desk.

We took advantage of a friends wedding rate that was quite competitive. This did not include valet parking which was quite pricey. It’s hard to find parking nearby so this was the best option for us.

The deluxe room is spacious and comfortable. Very modern bathroom which was almost the same size as the room if not bigger. Double sinks separate soak tub and rainforest shower and toilet areas create an even more luxurious feel. The bed is also comfortable.

What made the stay even better and memorable was that we were traveling with our one year old and every request was met before we arrived. A crib, baby monitor , bottle warmer, bath tub and baby soap were all set up before we arrived. Even the crib sheets were above the usual cotton provided with a bear. The room was immaculately cleaned each day which was great. Additionally every time we passed by reception we were asked if we needed anything else.

My only complaint is the lack of dining options at the hotel. We went to their fine dining restaurant and thought it was just okay and with a toddler better dining options are outside of the hotel.

First class service in a beautiful facility. Great central location. Excellent F&B options with excellent drinks & food. The waitstaff in the Lobby Bar, particularly Vanessa, was great. We would return with pleasure and will definitely recommend the hotel to others.

Thoroughly updated, heritage with a somewhat European feel. Hotel is very clean with an elegant ambiance and attention to detail. I love these rooms, they are well laid out with contemporary decor and beds are very comfortable! I am all about the bathroom, so this hotel excels, heated floors, marble, rain shower and of course the fantastic tubs. Love Prohibition with its intimate sophisticated cool, and Reflections, always restorative in the summer is now open through December with a festive winter ambiance; a unique space with cool cocktails and great food. House car, a Bentley, is available to guests. Staff don’t hover but neither are they super warm, that said i love this hotel!

I loved it, best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From start to finish everyone was so genuinely friendly and funny. I’ve booked to go back already and I cannot wait. The turndown service is a nice little extra.

We stayed there for 3 nights, arriving in Vancouver after a long flight from Europe. It was the perfect place to start our vacation. The hotel has a lot of old world charm while being in excellent condition and nicely decorated. The service and staff are excellent and very friendly. The location is absolutely perfect as it is close to anywhere you would want to go. The room was also stunning with an even more stunning bathroom. This hotel is definitely worth staying in.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Vancouver! From check in to the concierge to the wonderful roof top bar, this is top notch! The room is absolutely stunning. Hollywood glam with hints of Art Deco. Fantastic room overlooking Georgia ST and the Vancouver Art Gallery. Great sound proofed windows. The washroom/bathroom is HUGE! Beautiful marble/granite.
One cool feature of the hotel: you can have a splash of several different scents and colognes at the lobby. Never seen that!

Great place to stay, rooms are very comfortable ,location is great , concierge book some great restaurants and the hotel car took us to the Vancouver ice hockey match which they help us book, staff are fantastic hope to stay again some day.

From the moment you are welcomed back to the day you leave, you are treated like a special known guests. Rooms are nicely decorated and throughly cleaned daily. We have stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times over the past 5 years and love seeing many of the same staff. Great location and well equipped gym. Reflections is a perfect spot for a lunch or drink. Hawksworth is one of the best restaurants in town.

Overall, a fantastic stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable – excellent bed and a stunning bathroom. We booked a Deluxe King and were upgraded to a Premier King which had a lovely view of the Vancouver Art Gallery. Plenty of room to lounge around. On our first night, we received a small bottle of champagne on ice to celebrate our anniversary, which was such a nice touch. Housekeeping was impeccable (loved the turndown service), room service was delicious, the car service/doormen were great and knowledgable about the city, and the majority of our requests were met with a kind word and a smile. You can’t beat the location – we were within walking distance of pretty much everything. Loved going to the mall and trying out the different restaurants just a block or two over. On our last night, we had drinks at Prohibition after returning from dinner, which was perfect – we loved the ambiance and the Hotel Georgia cocktail. We did spend time at the waterfront and I nearly booked a hotel down that way, but I’m glad I went with this one instead.

As for areas of improvement: the upgraded room, while having a great view in general, overlooked construction – there was a lot of noise when we decided to relax there one afternoon. There was a little confusion over the Virtuoso package and what was included, mainly with the breakfast – I received conflicting info. On the first night, I was told to call a number and the order was taken, but the time was somehow incorrect (they had us scheduled for 10 instead of 8:30). On the second night, I decided to use the door hanger instead and had no problems. For our early departure on our last day, I made arrangements to have breakfast to go, but no mention of it had been made. When I went to confirm, as I was told to do when I arranged it, I sensed that I was being a bother and ended up telling them not to worry about it. I did not receive the message that it had already been confirmed until after this happened. I chalk it up to a misunderstanding, but think it could have been handled better. In a separate incident, I was offered green tea as a non caffeinated tea option, which was strange considering most green teas are caffeinated (and some have more caffeine than coffee). A little more training would probably help resolve this problem. Again, these were minor and would not prevent me from staying there again. For our first trip to Vancouver, I think we knocked it out of the park.
