My mother got sick during our vacation and the staff made arrangements for her to have a late check-out of 4:00 PM. This gave her the ability to get much needed rest before leaving for the airport.
We stayed here for a weekend after our cruise and had a lovely stay. We got into port early in the morning and went to the hotel to leave our luggage so we could explore the city before check in. The lady advised us if we wanted to upgrade for $35 more (total) we could check in then- heck yes! We had a room that had a huge patio and we sat out there in the morning w/ our coffee and watched the port and ships come and go. The only minor issue was when the people opened the slider next door it was loud and squeaky (but I assumed ours annoyed them too). The room was nice, the bed was soft and the bathtub was delightful.
Enjoyed our one night here at the Hyatt check in was easy and effortless. The concierge was extremely helpful planning our day. The beds were very comfortable and provided us with a roll away for our daughter that was also very comfortable. We had drinks in the bar that were great and enjoyed talking to the bartenders telling us where we should have dinner. Great recommendations for dinner the Italian kitchen was great.
Was taking a cruise out of Vancouver and wanted to come to the city a day early. The Hyatt Regency was approximately an 8 minute walk to the Cruise terminal which is also a nice waterfront area with restaurants and bars, 1 minute walk to the light rail station and a less than 5 minute walk from Howe Street which is a great bar area. The lobby was upscale and modern without being pretentious, there was a nice restaurant and tasting bar which stayed open late hours. The rooms were clean and updated and the view of the city was amazing. My one and only gripe was the shower. The shower was the modern “rain fall” shower in which the nozzle was in the ceiling. It was wonderful and cool to look at but not functional for proper cleansing. All and all, it’s a great place to stay for an overnight or a lengthy visit.
We stayed here after our Alaska Cruise, close to the ship terminal and within walking distance of so much. You can get on any bus to talk you anywhere. You can walk to Stanley Park from the Hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the bell man got our bags up to our room within The views are gorgeous
This hotel couldn’t be more convenient to restaurants, shops, sites, and public transportation. There’s a Starbuck’s in the hotel, and a so-so restaurant that’s a little on the pricey side. I would opt for eating in some of the nearby restaurants. The hotel is spotless and the staff helpful.
This is a nice hotel–what you would expect from an upscale hotel for premium price. The outdoor pool and hot tub are fantastic, especially if you’re travelling with kids, and the fitness centre overlooks the pool and is great. The location is extremely convenient if you’re taking a cruise, and the hotel is generally in a very desirable part of town. However, there were little things we found annoying–like $3 bottles of water in our room (from the purchase of which 5 cents would be donated to charity–5 cents? really?) and a $5 per page charge to print anything. The staff were really nice and helpful and I don’t have any major complaints, but there weren’t any of the little extras (no cookies or apples in the lobby!) that can go a long way.
I stayed here for two nights and had a comfortable stay. The room is new and we had a good view overlooking downtown and the Fairmont Hotel opposite. There is a Starbucks downstairs too. Parking was convenient with a lift accessible from the car park to hotel lobby.
I could not have asked for a better stay. The staff was amazing very accommodating, gave us the in and out of the entire area. the bed well I could have slept all day if they let me. The bar and grill so good they are centrally located to go to just about every place you could imagine.
This was a great central location for all the downtown destinations. As you expect, the hotel is large, modern and busy. Great workout facilities and other amenities. Room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Not super luxury but definitely on the higher end.
The Hyatt is fantastic. This was my second time staying here and I’m always glad I choose it. The location is central, the rooms are very nice and clean and the staff are super friendly. I was happy they also upgraded me to a corner suite with a balcony view! I am a huge fan of the dermatologist approved line they’ve chosen for their bathroom toiletries. The conference rooms are nice and the food served is really good. The only thing that made my stay difficult was they couldn’t accommodate my oversized vehicle as there were clearance issues and all other spots were taken so I had to drive it down the block and park it at the Shangri La. That was a pain for when I checked out as I had to drag my bags to the other hotel. I had initially called ahead only to have the unhelpful staff on the other end give me no information on parking. That will need improvement.
stayed here for 5 nights. The hotel is wonderful. The room was large, big comfy bed and very clean. The elevator panel was so cool! a very efficient way but it the wait was long at times. prime downtown location with easy access to everything(24 hr mcdonalds and tim hortons across the street and starbucks in lobby) and the metro station is minutes away
Came down for the Early Years conference, great to have such a good deal on the room rate to enable staying at the same hotel.
We really enjoyed out stay. The location is superb and the hotel is clean, classy and staff are personable. Very close to shopping and great restaurants. Also a run along Coal Harbour is at your door step.
Great food. the triple chocolate cake is well worth the calories
We stayed two night with a jointing rooms with our daughter and two grandchildren. The check in was easy and the customer service rep was outstanding–gave us good advice on parking etc. We also had one evening meal with room service. It came promptly as promised, was high quality and the waiter was helpful and very friendly. I would stay here again.
