The location of this hotel is great, just near downtown. Most importantly, the service is very personal and warmth. The front desk tried everything to make my staying easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel.
BLISS… we had the best nights sleeps in the wonderful comfortable beds and very quiet rooms. The decor is classic modern and has a very calming effect, with lovely spacious rooms. Wonderful friendly staff, that went above and beyond for you. Highly recommend staying at Hotel BLU
5 minute walk to Rogers Arena, super clean, feels brand new. Extremely quiet. Our room had no view, just the street and the condo across the street. Not sure if any rooms have much of a view but lovely room makes up for it.
Green Features: recycling options of organics and regular recycling paper/plastics – towels only washed if you choose to place them on the floor
The location downtown is great. It is in a good area within walking distance to several places to eat/drink. The staff was friendly and helpful upon check-in and throughout our stay. The room was clean and it was nice to have turn-down service. For being right down in the city, the rooms were large. We had a corner room which provided lots of windows and natural light. The pool was on the smaller side, but nice to have an area to use. I will mention that there isn’t really a “lobby” area of the hotel – and it doesn’t really offer a place to eat or bar.I would recommend this hotel to any friends/family.
Great service, location and pricing. Super clean! Staff was fantastic(even when we broke a glass on accident) Very polite and helpful! The pool, spa, and sauna were awesome. I cannot wait to stay here again!!!
We went to the Boat Show at BC Place. Stayed 2 nights at the hotel. We were a bit early for check in but the front desk accomadated us without asking. Valet service was immediate and our room was super clean and comfortable.
Each time we met a staff member in the hall or in he lobby they had smiles and friendly greeting.
We returned to our room on the second night to find our bed was turned down with chocolates on the pillow. A beautiful touch.
Absolutely nothing but positive comments for our stay at Hotel Blu
Green Features: Trash separation bins is a nice idea. The shampoo and soap dispensers are very eco friendly. No wasting of partially used bars of soap and shampoo bottles. These can be a chore to keep clean but the ones in this hotel were spotlessly clean
Nice Hotel, polite helpful staff, however a surprise $30/day bill for parking in their underground parkade will keep us from coming back. With tax I was charged $82 for parking for our two day stay. I assume this covered the low advertised rate which in my books is untruthful.
Clean, convenient location, small but comfortable room. The only detractor was the amount of hall noise which could be heard in the room: ice machine, people speaking in a volume appropriate for a sporting event rather than a hotel hallway, cleaning staff…
Hotel BLU is convenient to most everything. The staff is warm, good humored, helpful and considerate. Fun, too. Parking is conveniently located on the premises. I couldn’t have been more pleased and if given the chance to return to Vancouver, I’ll choose this accommodation again. Thanks, to all the staff members ~ from booking, check-in, luggage assistance, valet parking, directions to various points and places of interest, transportation if needed and so much more. Salute ~ Hotel BLU!
Upgraded hotel room with attention to details. Contemporary in a great location. Free internet in rooms. Parking $39 a day. Coffee pot, tea kettle, glass water bottle in the room to fill up with filtered water from ice machine, room tablet for use with internet or movie viewing since it links with tv!, fridge, microwave, slippers, robes. Bikes for use, indoor pool jacuzzi and sauna, gym! Bathroom has shade you can lower for privacy if desired!
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It is very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in downtown Vancouver. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, stadiums, and tourist attractions. We enjoyed the fun designed shower with glass wall to see through from the sleeping area, got a laugh out of us. Swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness room completely met our needs. We didn’t have breakfast there, seemed pricey but can’t say anything about the selection.
This is a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel. Close to stores, tourist attractions, sports stadiums. We enjoyed the room without a carpet, which is so much more hygienic. The shower was designed fun and got a laugh out of us. Beds were comfortable but pillows were slightly high, but all very clean. Swimming pool, sauna and hot tub was clean and met our needs. Fitness room was nicely equipped, clean, with working equipment.

New Boutique hotel featuring New York Loft Style rooms located on Robson very close to BC Place and Rogers Arena in Vancouver. … Amenities
We wanted to stay in a nice place after spending 4 days on a train across Canada. The room was very spacious and the shower and bathroom facilities were excellent. The hotel is centrally located too many eating areas and the buses to local attractions lie Capilano Park, Stanley Park and Granville Island are within walking distance. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The WiFi service is excellent too. Would stay again next time we are in Vancouver.
Very good location – close to everything, within 10 min walk of shops and not far from Gastown. Rooms are very nice, very clean and bed/pillows so comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient. Would recommend.
For our third stay at this hotel, we were part of a wedding group booking. Every aspect of the service we received at the hotel (from the front desk staff, to the guest services manager, to the housekeeping staff and the valet) was exceptional. Their goal was definitely to make sure arrangements went seamlessly, and we had a great experience. With so many dining options within walking distance, a hair salon on premises, and a location that allowed the people in our group to easily explore the area on foot or on the bikes provided, it was the perfect spot for a booking of this nature. As parents of the groom we booked an executive loft suite so that we would have the space for entertaining as well as a large terrace to enjoy. For this purpose it was ideal, however in hindsite, with a lot of people trying to get ready at the same time the day of the wedding there was a lack of privacy, with the bathroom, wardrobes and drawer space being located on the main level and the glassed in loft only containing the bed, and desk. The continental breakfast offered in the Azure Lounge was not included in our group price and the feedback from those who did try it was that it was a bit pricey at $22 per person plus tax and gratuity. Although we understand for security purposes why the room key is required for elevator access to your floor and the amenities on the second floor, it was inconvenient for those of us staying on the second floor that wanted to go to a guest’s room on the third floor. They could come to us, but we could not easily go to them! Considering the type of event it was, it also would have been nice to have a 15 min loading zone in the driveway area. There was a lot of dropping off, picking up, delivering of food and supplies etc for the wedding, and it was not feasible to have your vehicle parked every time you pulled up to the door. For the most part the valet was quite lenient with us, but it was not without getting the evil eye on more than one occasion. Overall, we received many compliments from the guests and were very happy that everyone enjoyed their stay so much! The general concensus was that it was definitely a place to return to if visiting the Vancouver area.
My wife and I loved Hotel Blu. Around the clock service, friendly and knowledgeable staff and a convenient location made this worth it. The room was spacious, comfortable and modern. The amenities were also top notch.
We stayed in a mezzanine suite (207) and the rest of the family in normal rooms. The rooms are tastefully appointed, clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful, no bar however, there’s lots nearby though. We didn’t eat breakfast here as there’s a lot of nice eateries up the hill just off Robson.
My family and I had a great stay as we prepared for a cruise out of the Port of Vancouver. This was semi-random selection that ended up being a memorable part of our trip. The room was super cool with the multi-level design, my kids thought it was novel. Front desk staff was super helpful, watching our bags, recommendations on what to see, and arranging travel to the port for the cruise. It was overall A+.
The staff was welcoming and helpful. Awesome aquarium in the lobby! The room was large and comfortable. The A/C was noisy when it cycled on and off, it didn’t bother me but might bother light sleepers. The hotel is in easy walking distance to Yaletown, Gastown, and the Arena.
We arrived in Vancouver early and were able to check in by about 11:00am. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and beautiful. The hotel is a fantastic location walking distance to great concert venues, shopping, restaurants and the water.
Excellent service and excellent location. Very clean, well presented, but would have liked a shower not a tub with a shower handle that tended to spray around the area of the tub while washing up……
The hotel itself is a nice, somewhat funky modern design on the corner of Robson and Cambie. Rooms were comfortable and clean, the one we stayed in being a loft suite with the bedroom upstairs. (Note!: To use the shower part of the tub, you have to pull down on the tub faucet ring – not intuitive!!) Nice workout room and pool, and also an easy to use business center PC & printer. The staff is not knowledgeable about local amenities as they couldn’t tell me where the nearest bank was to get cash, nor nearest public transit. The price of the continental buffet was $20/each person and in my opinion overpriced. Go across the street to Waves coffee shop.
