Excellent rooms, extremely helpful staff, great location in town. This place was outstanding for the price, location, and experience. We would definitely stay here again at the drop of a dime. Grade A treatment from everyone.
we had a corner room–the view of the city at night was beautiful..the front desk staff was very helpful in suggesting how to get around the city and what attractions we could walk to from this location
There was confusion due to communication at the time of reservation regarding use of “Be My Guest” certificate. Staff at the hotel and Hilton Honors staff each went beyond the usual business practice to solve the problem and make my stay there a pleasure in every respect, which was much needed following a week of travel. Could not be more pleased or impressed at the helpful attitude and service.
Stayed here one night and enjoyed it. friendly professional staff, nice clean rooms, nice business room with computers, printers etc. nice lobby, pool etc. Elevators could be quicker. Didn’t care for the parking fee & the fact that every time you use the elevator you need to swipe (although I can understand the reasoning behind it). Otherwise, no complaints!
We chose the Hampton Inn and Suites in Vancouver because it was close to where we needed to be for all the functions and entertainment etc we were taking part in and we chose a suite for space as we were going to be there for 9 nights.
We were not disappointed with our choice.
We had a wonderful experience staying at the Hampton Inn Downtown Vancouver. We arrived too early so we were offered to put our luggage behind their counter and were helped to decide what our options were for city tour. When we got back we were pleasantly surprised to have our luggage already in our room. Also dinner at Bogard’s right below hotel was delicious! I’d definitely stay here again.
Nice clean hotel appointed with comfortable furniture
Not exactly inexpensive, then again it is Vancouver
If you’re seeing an event at BC Place there is t a better location and it also convenient to the garage Ford Theatre, and Queen E.
This hotel is in a great position in Robson Street the place to shop, eat, play and spend your hard earned dollars. We stayed on the 15th. Floor overlooking the stadium.
The room has two king sized beds and incredibly clean and well fitted out for the traveller. We have coffee making facilities and the bed is so comfortable I don’t want to get up!
I LOVE this hotel. Have been here 4 times over the last couple years. With family and friends. GREAT fitness area (ping pong table is super fun) but it’s the staff that really is the key. They go out of thier way to make it amazing based on what you need. They are wonderful!
Overall the hotel is fine except for the parking. Limited spots for guest and parking was tight. Fairly difficult to navigate parking entrance for first time visitors. We love the breakfast area. The lay out makes you look forward for breakfast. Although there were plenty of selections, food could still be improved. Location is at the end of Robson St. just across the BC Center.
Situated on Robson Street most sights are within reasonable walking distance. Around 15-20 minutes. There is a hop on hop off trolley stop near the hotel for sightseeing. Hotel is clean and staff are very friendly. Rooms very comfortable. We were
next to the lift however this did not cause any problems never heard any noise. They have a great recycling programme. Breakfast was varied and plenty of choice.
We stayed here for 3 nights after having taken a 7 day cruise up the coast to Vancouver. We were looking to do some walking and biking throughout downtown Vancouver and this hotel offered a great location. We walked around False Creek all the way to Granville Island, as well as walking up and down Robson Street and through the Gastown, Chinatown, and Yaletown neighborhoods. The hotel offers free bike rentals (nothing fancy, basic beach cruisers with locks and helmets) which we took advantage of to ride around Stanley Park.
Room was up to date and very clean, water, tea, and coffee available in the lobby, free hot/cold breakfast, and free shuttle service within the downtown area. Staff here is very friendly and service oriented, and while it’s not a top tier luxury hotel, it does get all of the basic things right along with a lot of the little details as well – complimentary bottled water in the gym, free WiFi, provided a razor and shaving cream when my electric shaver went dead. And they offered ear plugs for those guests (not us!) who didn’t want to hear U2 rehearsing across the street in BC Place.
What a surprise staying across the street from the BC center while U2 practices for their kick off concert May 12th for their North American Tour. Nothing like hanging on the 16th floor balcony listening and enjoying the cool weather. The staff at the hotel were super friendly. Bogarts restaurant has the best home made black bean burger and brew you will fine. Make sure you look for Alva or Sara. They are both very sweet and will give you great service. Vancouver is loaded with friendly people. Spend time in Granville and Yaletown. You won’t regret it!
The staff were brilliant- especially the staff in the breakfast room and at reception- all so friendly and willing to help with anything you needed. So polite and professional.
Facilities were great- small kitchen area, a laundry and games room as well as a gym and lovely balcony with a great view over the city. The morning we checked out the reception staff even gave us some ice-cold bottles of water to take with us- outstanding service!
The staff was very helpful for tourists (us)! They directed us right to reasonably priced options for transportation to local attractions. The breakfast was filling and varied.
Location perfect to downtown shopping.. 5-10 minutes from the Hotel.
Went for lunch at BOGART’S. Considering being short staffed, it did not take long for our lunch to be served….
The bed was really comfy, there wasn’t a lot of choice for the breakfast but everything there was super delicious! Overall, the room was VERY clean!
This modern hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Stadium-Chinatown SkyTrain station and a 15-minute walk from False Creek.
Classic rooms feature free Wi-Fi, desks and flat-screen TVs, plus coffeemakers, minifridges and microwaves. Suites add separate living areas with sofabeds, as well as kitchenettes.
Amenities include free breakfast, a fitness room, rooftop sauna and whirlpool. There’s also a free local area drop-off shuttle, 4 meeting rooms and a 24/7 business center. Underground parking is available for a fee.

Solid value with a great location. This was a work trip, with everything working out quite well. The location was great, with the rooms being clean and quiet, which is perfect for me. The only flaw was the elevator which was very slow.
We were very satisfied with the Hampton Inn Downtown Vancouver. Courteous staff, efficient, and seems well-managed. The room was clean and I especially liked the fact that the duvet covers are freshly washed for each guest’s stay! Spotless bed and VERY comfortable mattress and pillows. The hotel felt luxurious without paying exorbitant prices. Breakfast is included in the stay and was excellent. The breakfast room is decorated in a fun updated style. The grandmother who works in the breakfast area was very nice and made us feel taken care of. No complaints with the complimentary internet. Umbrellas were made available for loan, very helpful considering it rained the entire time we were in Vancouver. The parking garage felt safe (additional charge for use of parking garage). Restaurants within short walking distance made it easy to get a meal.
Great place and staff, good location and as a result a bit expensive. Clean hotel, doors don’t slam if you are a light sleeper and quiet overall if there is not game in town. Amenities are good with lots of restaurants to choose from. Easy access to everywhere.
Great location right next to BC Place Stadium. Close to lots of restaurants and points of interests. The staff is friendly. My room was very clean and comfortable. I will be sure to book here on my next visit to downtown Vancouver.
Awesome service, clean rooms, best breakfast bar I have experienced. Within walking distance to BC place, Rogers Arena for all sporting events, concerts. Shopping is just a few blocks away and plenty of choices for meals close by.
Very quiet, breakfast was better than expected and the view is awesome. Everything you need within walking distance the staff is very friendly. Movies, museums and arts all to keep you busy while out of the room.
The Hampton Inn & Suites in Vancouver BC was the perfect place for our family. Primarily it accommodated all 5 of us in one room. No need to have to book two separate rooms not knowing if they would be close by to each other. Other amenities that are important to our family is: Cleanliness, breakfast included (beautiful space and nice variety of food), location to tourist sites/shopping/restaurants and a workout space. All were accommodated by this hotel!
Friendly welcome, booked a one bedroom suite with kitchen which made the place feel like a home away from home. Bed was great, clean room, nice staff, has a good gym on the top floor too! Easy walk to shopping and lots of places to eat/drink nearby.
Good location, helpful staff. Very clean rooms and facilities. Provided Pack n’ Play crib no charge upon request for our baby. Easy access to restaurants and breakfast included. Checking in and out with baby was easy.
Great location that can walk to shops, restaurants. Fun place to stay. Nearby Gas Town is more preferred and has more character. Yale Town has a long row of restaurants, kind of cool. If you are here after Thanksgiving, make sure visiting Christmas Market. It’s a treat. Suspension Bridge is another attraction and the same as the Granville Public Market nearby.
The room is small to average (and not “updated” like several reviews stated). There’s a fridge, extra sink, and microwave. The complimentary breakfast is average. But there three things that set this hotel apart:
1. The view from the 16th floor (fitness center/spa/laundry level). You can go out on the balcony and see nearly a 360° view of the city. Sit in the hot tub at night and see the city lights. Play table tennis. Take a sauna. Bring your coffee and breakfast up to enjoy from a bird’s-eye view.
2. The hotel offers a free shuttle 7am-7pm to anywhere in downtown (one way). All you have to do is schedule your trip with the driver. We took the shuttle to Canada Center where we caught the free bus ride to Capilano Bridge Park.
3. We asked for a pizza delivery recommendation, and someone from the front desk brought up a handful of brochures from nearby places.
