Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver

Stayed one night here while over for a bc lions game with my wife. Checkin excellent responding to my request for higher floor even when hotel full. Very friendly. Definitely a mature hotel but grand and centrally located over Pacific centre close to bc place. Bed was super comfy and appreciated with quiet after dark. Bath nice clean but std for this level of room. View of downtown nice high above all the hustle n bustle.

This is an excellent hotel located in downtown Vancouver. This is going to be a pretty short review because there isn’t a lot to report. So to keep it short and crisp:
The room was really nice and very clean.
Check-in and check-out was easy with very friendly staff. Whenever I needed something it was as if they knew before I asked. At the same time it wasn’t over the top, which is important to me too.
One thing some people may want or need to consider: The air throughout the hotel seems to be scented. I’ve had allergic reactions to things like that in the past, but it was no problem at this hotel.
Overall a beautiful hotel with very friendly service. I’d definitely go there again.

I was pleasantly surprised about the experience. Because of its economical nightly rate, I was expecting an average service and facility. It turned out to be one of the most hospitable places I stayed at. All faculties were extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and had a great view. Not to mention its central location, this place is going to be on the top of my Vancouver stay list.

I have stayed here and in the Pan Pacific this hotel is way better in every aspect so when the prices are right i will always stay here, the location, the beds the service and the link with the mall are great.

Seeing Four Seasons isn’t within the top 3 in Vancouver scares me a little whether it’s a good decision to stay. Overall, it’s an enjoyable stay, the best people at the hotel is indeed the doorman who greet us every morning and help us even though we don’t choose to park at the hotel.

The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable as always. We wish we would have tried the hotel buffet for breakfast but instead of only had one day to order of a la carte menu for our stay cause there are just so much restaurant we would like to try even for breakfast, but food was good

Location wise, cannot be any more convenient, next to the mall, and skytrain station and shops.

Thing we believe should improve on and not within the standard is that every night after the turn-down service (which we were not back to the rooms yet), we had to call for a few more bottles of water as we have a baby that we need to boil water and have filtered water, we thought by requesting for the 1st or 2nd night that somehow the housekeeping would know to automatically do it, but we were always left not enough bottle of water, and there were couple of nights, where originally 4 bottle would be put (which makes sense cos we have 4 people) instead, there were only 2 bottles, we believe this is how number 1 and number 2 is differentiated which was not too impressive and quite annoying to have to call and wait for someone every single night to do the exact same thing .

Overall, staff was extremely helpful and eager to help you to make your stay with a positive experience.

Downtown Vancouver hotel that lives up to its name. Door service and exceptional service that is common with this hotel chain. Close to Sky train, RAV and bus line either at your doorstep or within half a block. A quick taxi ride or 10 minute walk to the Seaplane base to Vancouver Island or Gulf Islands.
You can literally cross the street and walk one block to catch the RAV line to be at YVR in about 30 minutes.

Indoor / Outdoor pool and very nice restaurant within the building. Hotel is connected to Pacific Centre Mall.

The hotel was fabulous. My only recommendation is to improve the beds for a more comfortable sleep. They are very hard. I checked in with my family and they are always great to my kids when they check in with me. The pool is a nice relaxing place refresh at the start of the day and to unwind at the end of the day

Stayed at the Four Seasons last weekend. As usual the customer service was great. The room was decent on the fifteenth floor, it had a nice view of the city. I can’t complain too much because I was on the corporate rate but was surprised by the dowdy old brown armchair in the room, it really didn’t fit the style.

The pool area is amazing though and makes it worth the stay every time. You almost want to go down to the change room in your PJ’s and get ready for the day down there. Apparently the Yew Bar has been completely upgraded behind the scenes, hard to tell, but it looked good already. Will be back despite the chair

Great central location! The friendly staff were exceptionally helpful and understanding when it came to my children (traveling with children can be rather stressful at times!) Lovely clean, spacious rooms. We had a five night stay and would stay again! The only downside was that the pool was a tad cold as it is open to the elements. It would be perfect for lap swimming but not so good for young children.

After a few days of skiing at Whistler, we decided to forgo the last night’s stay at the Pan Pacific Village Centre to drive back to Vancouver to check in one day earlier than our anticipated arrival date. So kudos to the FS Vancouver to be able to accommodate our family an extra night!

Check in was on the second floor of the hotel as the first floor was connected with the Pacific Centre for those shopping aficionados. As opposed to reading some of the other negative reviews, the escalators and elevators worked just fine during our stay. Yew was also open for business after being closed briefly for some deep cleaning and minor refurbishment, and the restaurant was very busy and lively during our stay. I felt that the hotel was very modern and clean, although the carport was a little small and narrow.

The hotel was very centrally located in downtown Vancouver. Everything was just a few blocks away if you have good walking shoes and love to exercise: waterfront, convention center, Robson street are all within a 20 min walk. We did have a rental car, so we drove to Chinatown, Stanley Park, and Capilano Bridge.

Since we were traveling with two older teenagers, we opted for the Deluxe Executive Suite, and the choice was perfect. The spacious suite included a bedroom with a very comfortable king bed as well as a living area with a queen sized sofa bed and a roll away bed so our teenagers didn’t have to fight over blankets and pillows. The best part about the suite was the two full bathrooms! Our suite had plenty of closet and drawer space, plenty of outlets for our electronics, and two large flat screen TVs. The only downside was the very slow complimentary wifi connection. There is a faster wifi option if you wish to pay for it.

As with most Four Seasons, their service is legendary. We were addressed by name just about everywhere we went. Heather, the concierge, was very helpful in giving us tips with activities and sightseeing. Since we raved about the chocolate chip cookies that we had at the FS Whistler, she called the kitchen and had them bake a batch and had it sent to our room (for a price, of course). Valet was very prompt with retrieving our car and helping with luggage. In room breakfast was delivered promptly at the scheduled time.

Overall, our family had a wonderful stay and wished we could’ve stayed longer… maybe next time.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms well decorated, and the staff outstanding! We go back a few times a year just to get a quick getaway from Seattle. We travel as a couple for some quiet time together, as well as with our children and both ways work well. Great location and the food at Yew is delicious.
